The one at pavilion is good.. waiters are friendly and food was excellent.. Gateway is terrible, got bad food poisoning and sick for days. Don't think I would ever eat at this place again. Needs to be improved with regards to cleaniness but otherwise it's good indian food.

I've eaten at the Gateway to branch on several occasions, and the food is always good. The Friday lamb breyani is unsurpassed in my humble opinion. Don't mind the rather grotty decor. Just go for the food.

Order food. Wait very long. Schwarma was the worst I ever had. Just lamb curry in a pita bread. Charged more than was indicated on menu. When owner, a lady, was approached she was very rude. My advice, stay away the worst place on the beach front to have a meal

While in Durban on holiday popping into My Diner for a meal was norm. But on Sunday 15th January, we popped in for a late lunch. I ordered a chicken briyani, after waiting quite a while for the food to arrive, i tucked into it immediately, only to find between the grains of rice a long strand of black hair.... More

Beachfront branch_ Friday 6 Jan at 4pm. We were seated at entrance but this was very noisy and busy with patrons coming in and out. We decided to seat ourselves at the back where it was less noisy.Decor seems ok but a lack of finishing is the let down...also cleanliness of decorative mirrors and tables and chairs were not up... My Diners at the beach front prepares and serves the best Chicken Tikka. I normally opt for takeaway as the sit down area is congested and the service can be slow when busy.

I was a regular here eating the popular veggie curries - the bean bunny signature dish being my favourite veg dish. They changed the recipe drastically - so much so that I figured they mixed some other curry into it to give it a tomato flavour. They used to be excellent but messed up. i heard weird rumours about pakistani... More

Had lunch at the on the beach, i ordered lemon butter chicken, the waiter was friendly and the food good, tasty and a big portion, i had left overs for a hungry begger on the beach. I enjoyed my meal!

My diner on the beach is one of the worst restaurant you will find. the are unable to make a dish spicy if you require it. they are slow slow slow, you can wait up to 50mins your take away. the food is totally overpriced knowing that any curry comes with nothing on the side so you have to order...
