Lugz were recommended as one of the few restaurants in our area that served traditional Durban Lamb/Mutton Bunny Chows. The reality is that the bunny is served in a white loaf, has mutton meat in the stew, but it is definitively not Durban style. It lacked the layers of fragrance and tastes, no elachi I guess, and missing some other... More

Went for a family birthday celebration. We started with samoosas which were excellent - lamb, chicken and potato. The main course menu had very little that I liked. This is a Durban Curry style restaurant so you don't get the traditional Indian dishes at all. Their curries all have bones in and if you want it de-boned they charge you... More

Just a typical Indian take-away / restaurant. The food is decent, but will never be memorable... fair selection and not badly priced.

I was treated to a traditional Durban meal called Bunny Chow - what a feast! I could barely finish it, but really quite tasty! The small loaf of bread is cut in half and the inside scooped out. Your choice of curry is then put in the remaining cavity, and the dough that was removed is put on top -... More

Authentic Durban bunny chow. Nice samoosas. Take away meals. No air conditioning but great outdoor facilities.

I'm Indian...i know a good breyani, i even know a mediocre breyani. This breyani, is made with poor quality rice..is artificially coloured with orange colouring and tastes horrible!! To get something that every Indian knows the taste of, so wrong is incredible..will not be going there again

Always a relaxed vibey atmosphere. Owners are excellent hosts, with a good choice of meals served. Our favourite is most definitely their bunny chows.

visited on 11am 7 May 2014. Waiter said the food will take 10 minutes, my husband and i were surprised, "fresh Durban curry at its best" in such a short time! The food wasnt at all to our satisfaction! No heat, no pungency certainly not flavorful - as for portions definitely not large as stated by other reviews. Will certainly not... More
