My hubby and I went out for supper and decided to try something new - I wish we'd tried Flava long ago - then we could have been enjoying all that amazingness for so much longer!! We both had the fillet medallions in creamy green peppercorn sauce - out of this world!! Best steak ever!! We followed that with homemade... More

Nestled in a side-street off Stanley road you will find a little bit of heaven. A smallish spot that is big on flavor, not to mention quality. Headed by Chef John, this one man cooking machine produces some of the finest food I have ever eaten. Friendly staff, great atmosphere and an open kitchen where you can see Chef John... More

Fantastic service as always and a lovely welcome from John, the owner, made the evening. We hadn't been here for a while which is a pity as we've been missing out on some of the best and most flavoursome food in PE. I started with the tamarind chicken skewers with a satay sauce - melt in the month delicious, my... More

Smallish, noisy, open to kitchen, crowded, but fabulous food . Had the prosciutto wrapped Kingklip with a delicious vegetable couscous. Wife had the Mediterranean salad with beef, very good. Street musicians performed a few songs and passed the hat, before we finished off with their scrumptious home made ice cream crumble.

Surprised by an invite from a family member..this was really an enjoyable evening. Really scrumptious food...in fact almost made to order..the chef visited the table and took each of our 6 orders...and presented to perfection. Drinks for everyone ...loved the craft beers..really something special. Enjoyable local talent..some minstrel singers, made it a very entertaining evening...not too noisy either!

We had the most amazing meal and for the first time, I had a fillet steak that was prepared just the way I liked it. The entire meal was wonderful and John and his staff are absolute jewels. Definitely be back!!!

John made a seafood pasta for me. I have never had a better seafood pasta anywhere. We all had different meals and everyone enjoyed their food tremendously.

An end of year function proved disappointing in the following ways: the acoustics of the venue are poor so it is necessary for everyone to shout to be heard, creating an extremely noisy atmosphere. Three of the mouthfuls I had cut of my fillet medallions I had to spit out as they were tough and unchewable. The green peppercorn sauce... More
