We discovered the Lemon Grass resturant on a visit to Pletenberg Bay and were delighted with our find. We had lunch here on day and enjoyed it so much we booked for new year. For lunch we ate in the main resturant which caters for fine dining. We ate from the lunch menu and all four of us chose different... More

We spent a lovely afternoon at Lemon Grass, drinking cocktails and having lunch on their deck and enjoying the distant mountain views. For starters we had the baked Camembert and the Avo and bacon salad was, just perfect. The main meals Lamb curry; and Salmon pasta was delicious! The perfect place to spend a relaxing afternoon.

First day in Plet we discovered this by accident. So very very good with the estuary views from the terrace, the choice of food (just taste the ostrich carpaccio) and wine that altogether make this place sublime.. We are a very well-travelled couple from the UK and this restaurant is in our top ten world wide. Omate, our waiter (that... More

The place is gorgeous, during the day you can see all the bay and in the night you can see all it's lights. As for the food, i ordered calamari tubes, my brother had the chicken schnitzel and my mother salmon pasta. All were delicious! They don't have many dishes but they serve beef, chicken, seafood and salads! The dessert... More

We booked at Lemongrass for a dinner for 4 pax. At the last minute our friends wanted to bring their two teenage children with. When we asked if they could accommodate the extra two no attempt was made to assist us. We had to tell our friends not to bring the children. As far as service goes it was non... More

Thank you for taking the time to write about your experience. Your review however is grossly misinterpreted as you did bring the children. Please note that when a reservation is made for a 4-seater table during the height of season, when all restaurants are booked to capacity, it is utterly obscene to arrive with a party of 6 and demand... Food consistently good although the service a little below par. Lovely position on the edge of the estuary.

Lemon Grass has all the makings of success, with its gorgeous deck and lovely indoor décor. It just needs to work on getting feet in the door and perhaps perking up the service a bit! Lovely food, lovely experience otherwise.

We were camped in the Keurbooms Lagoon Caravan Park. So we floated down to Lemon Grass's Beach Bar on the outgoing tide. Had a great lunch, a couple or 3 bottles of excellent wine and floated back on the incoming tide - what an afternoon, what a great place for a restaurant.

We stayed at Milkwood Manor as part of my wife's 60th birthday celebrations and were treated extremely well by both the hotel and the Lemon Grass restaurant. The restaurant offers an excellent choice of food and a comprehensive wine list. Our waitress was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and we had an excellent meal and a very enjoyable experience. Thoroughly recommended.
