Visited Bramon for lunch and was not impressed with the quality of food, wine and the service. Chicken was over cooked, meat balls were dry and bland, sticky chicken wings were cold and bland. Salads were nice. Nice setting in the vineyards.

Hi Brandon - I am sorry you did not enjoy Bramon. Regarding the food and service, I will look into this as the vast majority of guests love both. Re your comment on the wine, I have to disagree as would any wine connoisseur. Our wines have one numerous awards, and all of them including the ones you would have... More

While in a lovely setting, the lunch was disappointing. Tapas only. Wines were good....Sauvignon Blanc and Pinotage. Wouldn't go there for a special celebratory lunch or dinner.

Hi Beau We are a lunch venue only being appropriate with the setting in the vineyard. The tapas / Mezze are large servings and are accompanied by a hot platted bread straight out the oven. A variety of salads are offered and numerous other dishes like bobotie rolls and chicken wings etc. I am sorry you did not enjoy it... More

Loved the food and atmosphere! Would definitely suggest that you phone in advance to book one of the tables inside the vineyard. Could be very romantic for someone planning to pop the big question...

Bramon is one of my favourite places in the world, let alone in South Africa! A breathtaking setting and view accompany exquisite food and friendly, impeccable service - the perfect combination. Book a table amongst the vines for a truly unforgettable experience.

Due to the peak season we had to make a reservation to guarantee a table. We were not disappointed with lovely food, excellent service and a relaxed atmosphere that made it difficult for us to leave. We will be back

With all those reviews I thought we can have a meal. Turns out its only tapas (appetisers) which are of course over priced but tasted good. Also getting in there was too much of a hassle

Hi Dina Many thanks for your review :) Our menu is tapas / mezze but you receive a hot platted bread out the oven and can choose from an array of tasty dishes including salads, bobotie cigars, chicken wings, spicy meatballs etc etc. Most people say the portions are large and generous and are always more than full - they... Lovely setting (almost) amongst the vines. Simple lunch of sharing plates but delicious at the same time. You choose several dishes from a choice of salad, meat, fish and cheese and, off you go. The Crags Sauv Blanc was good too.

Lunch came highly recommended and it did not disappoint! Wow - beautiful simple setting, food memorable and the 2015 Sauvignion Blanc was delicious.

Fantastic wine estate restaurant - an absolute treat to visit. The food is great, the wine comes fresh from the vines to your plate, and the bread is as good as any bread anywhere in the world

After visiting Tenikwa & Monkeyland we had a fantastic lunch at Bramon. From the street it looks like a simple house offering cellar door tastings. Drive further in to the property to find a fantastic restaurant among the vines. Welcoming, friendly service & very tasty tapas offering a great selection of small dishes to share, we had a wonderful lunch... More
