The Bat Cafe is really not much more than a snack bar. Tne only indoor seating is at a counter up against a wall. There is a covered patio with tables but it would be nice to have indoor seating. The food was surprisingly good. Everything was fresh and the cook/waiter/cashier did a great job of getting food out to... More

While at Katchner Caverns State Park in Arizona we took the opportunity to sample some of the food in this place. I would call it a restaurant, but it is so small to call it a restaurant is generous. However, the food was good but with the small staff it took some time to get our order ( because it... More

I had a quesadilla on a burrito-size flour tortilla. It had chicken, tomato, onion and cheese for $8.99. It did not come with a side or a beverage. Of course, most tourist attractions are overpriced. I would recommend eating before you arrive, bringing your own food, or stopping at one of the eating places at the exit off I-10.

This cafe is on the property of Kartchner Caverns State Park. They have good food especially their casadias and prickly pear lemonade. The lemonade is the best and the staff is very accommodating. I enjoyed their menu.

We stopped in here for a bite before our cave tour. It was cold and raining outside and there were only 6 seats inside, 5 of them were taken. We couldn't even get a cup of coffee as the only person working there was making food for the people ahead of us. Looked at the menu board and found the... More

The food was fresh but very pricey. We spent $60 for a family of 4 to eat .. Small portions. I had a Cesar salad, sandwich soup and quesadillas. We had to order more food to fill everyone up!

I was really impressed with this little cafe - the quality was well above "fast food" and prices were fairly reasonable, especially compared to other state and national parks we have visited. The menu is quite varied - sandwiches and wraps, pizza and some hot entrees with a typical variety of soft drinks plus their special "prickly pear lemonade" (a... More

Not having been to Kartchner Caverns before we did not know what to expect food-wise but were well pleased with the Bat Cave. Good selection of food, pleasant staff, speedy service & good portions so all-in-all a good experience. Well recommended. Seating inside & out.

I was rather surprised that the special was gone before noon. We settled on sharing a sandwich instead of the corn chowder special. It was tasty, better than expected for a park concession. The outdoor seating was nice.
