The first time we found this lovely place it far exceeded any expectations we had. Fresh local food, great service and welcome combined with a wonderful spot! This time we returned and it was everything we experienced and didn’t disappoint! We will be back.....

Had lunch here and was really pleased with what was served. Tasty and well priced. It appears to get very busy, so be prepared to wait a little for the food, but worth it when it comes. Great views from the windows over Newport bay.

Fantastic location, friendly helpful staff and normally excellent food. However went expecting same superb whitebait and these large rather bitter ,strong small sardine like things in a different coating arrived. Please go back to others - so much nicer.More

Thankyou for your feed back. We still get the whitebait from the same supplier as the original whitebait, but I agree with you that the crumb coating is different and the whitebait are larger. We will address this concern with our supplier. We look forward...More

Description
Morawelon is a friendly, family run restaurant overlooking Newport Bay. It has stunning sea views to the front and views of the Preseli hills to the rear. Morawelon offers a range of lunches from fresh local seafood to speciality sandwiches and on a Sunday we serve a Sunday roast (using meats from our local butchers). If you are not hungry, why not pop in for a fresh cup of coffee and a freshly baked Danish pastry or a delicious cake. To the rear we have A beautiful family run campsite that has been in our family since it opened in the early 1920's. Nestled between the backdrop of Carningli ( Mountain of Angels ) and the stunning waterfront sea views of Parrog and Newport sands ( often called Traeth Mawr which is Welsh for big beach). You really could not find a better location for a seaside holiday than this stunning campsite. We also have a holiday bungalow to rent throughout the year. It sleeps 8 to 10 people and has stunning views across Newport Bay.
