Fantastic service. Great food. Recommend potato skins and polenta chips. Had such a great afternoon. Wine choices very good. Love that they do gluten free choices. Beautiful. Highly recommended:-)

Very nice venue with old world atmosphere, attentive staff and very good food. Coffee was excellent. A little off the road the venue has plenty of parking available for customers.

A tad bit out dated and attractive to the more mature crowd. 50+ years. It was packed to the rafters with customers, which was a good sign. Tried this place re: work lunch. It was very noisy and loud because of tight small space. Conversations needed extra attention. Guttered that it was raining otherwise we would have been outside in... More

Visited over two years ago when in NZ and happy to do go again I had garlic prawns with bacon, salad and crispy noodles. Superb. The prawns were as good as I have had anywhere and the bacon lovely. The salad was beautifully dressed

Our second visit to this delightful cafe and it was warm enough to sit outside in the courtyard. The food is delicious and the coffee is very good. All the staff were bubbly and friendly. One of the girls even held the door open for us when we arrived! Well worth a visit 😊

My family and I stopped in for breakfast on the way to CHCH. We found a window seat with the sun streaming in which was lovely. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the food couldn't be faulted. My son said the iced chocolate was to die for!
