Great staff, cheap drinks, nice atmosphere and good pizza. I’ve been reading my book next to the fire and was perfect. It’s a really nice place to go and meet nice and friendly people.

Mum and I came here for a meal and expected a decent feed. We got undercooked steak and an average burger which resulted in me meeting with the toilet. Your "sundae" was icecream and topping and you couldn't taste the hokey pokey at all. The...More

The Pioneer is tucked away under the hideous Nautilus building, set a bit back from the main drag of Orewa. We visited with friends on a Saturday afternoon and were surprised to see the place totally deserted. The German owner was friendly and the place...More
