Stunning dinner, well cooked and presented. Desert that arrived on fire was great! Good value for money also.

I could taste hints of fusion and it is perfectly executed. Superb taste and good portions sizing. Not too big not small. I think the price for its taste and portion is wonderful.

We had not been here for about 5 years, although used to eat here on every trip to Ohakune, so were glad to see it was still there, and even happier to discover it has not changed at all. The mains (we had the venison and a steak) were delicious, and the baked Alaska (for 2) was divine. Great service... More

They have an excellent kids menu offering several non-deep fried options. They also offered a divine dairy free (vegan) chocolate dessert with dairy free ice cream which is extremely rare and a real treat for my dairy intolerant husband. Great service and a delicious and enjoyable night out.

Ordered total fine dining in a takeaway. Couldn't be bothered getting out of our pjs and our nice warm chalet so we ordered in😱 Food was so lovely and great flavours and combos. So happy they did take away made our night and we got to eat our third course while our 5yr was in bed. 😏🙊

We visited twice while on holiday for a week in Ohakune. The first time we came in purely for dessert as our friends had told us the baked Alaska was amazing. They were not wrong! My boyfriend had the Alaska (to himself... Big mistake lol) and I had the lemon tart which was in fact the most amazing lemon tart... More

We booked on spec, because it was the top rated restaurant in town and boy were we impressed Staff was friendly and helpful, service was good and the meal was amazing. We shared a Artichoke dip which was really nice. Think plain crackers or toast would work better then Doritos (but I quibble). My Venison was cooked to perfection. the... More

Great atmosphere, love the fireplace. Delicious food, the beetroot, caramelised onion, feta tart was delicious and the beef cheeks too, so yummy. Good service too. Would definitely come here again if we didn't live so far away.

After being ignored by another establishment in town we left and ended up here - so glad we did because first and foremost the service was welcoming and friendly. The restaurant is warm and inviting, and the food was amongst the best we have eaten in NZ. Thank you!
