We had a touristic menu which consisted of different traditional Castillian specialties (chuletón, sopa castellana, patatas meneás, ...). Everything was good and tasty, but not exceptional. The waitress was very attentive and nice, and we got our food after a short while.

Easy to find next to the Cathedral and open from 8 pm. Had the two course meal which comprised selection of starters and a monster steak for two. Nice quirky atmosphere and pleasant service and reasonable price. Meat is for two people so you need to agree on how well you want it cooked.

We found this place by chance and we are very happy about it. We had the typical "Chuleton de Avila" meal which is a group pf starters (very local) and a 1Kg steak. 4 of us ate out of this menu and it was amazing, even my 2 year old loved the "judias" and the "sweet potato". The steak was... More

I was really surprised that this was so highly rated. I should have stuck by my original worries about any restaurant that provides a picture book instead of a menu. Having said that, the service was very good and friendly.

We had the big famous steak at lunch and want sometime else for dinner. Saw this place has great review on tripadvisor and tried it. The paella was not good at all, 21 menu with beef was thin and not good either. Only thing good was the house red wine and almond ice cream and cheesecake dessert. Thought it is... More

I had a melted goat cheese with a wine sauce on crusty bread that was a complete meal although it was only an appetizer. The wine and service was good, especially from Jory, my server. Good atmosphere steps from The Cathedral in the old walled city of Avila.

We went here for dinner and got the menu for 2 people. Everything from starters to the traditional final chuletón was great value.
