The first thing to highlight is the spectacular views of the muraya that they have. The place is also nice and well-kept. We ate very well and the service was very dynamic. We went to eat at 2 and we had a reservation, although it was at three, with a call we were able to change it without problem. At first I was surprised that we were alone in the dining room, but since I had already read reviews, it didn't worry me. Half an hour later it was already full. We ordered salad, truffled eggs with parmentier and sirloin, as well as a platter of local cheeses. Everything is very good in quantity, I would even say that they are large portions. We eat well and in the end we had half a portion of cheese left over. In terms of taste, everything was exquisite and on the menu they have quite a few dishes to choose from and we were left wanting to try some more, which we saw and they looked great. The waiters are very friendly and attentive. We were attended to by Brayan who was super attentive to making sure we were comfortable and that everything arrived on time. What's more, a couple arrived who didn't like their table and who responded with a rather arrogant attitude and still did everything possible to relocate them, having the entire room reserved.
Thanks guys. We were very comfortable and there is no doubt that we will return.

It's been a long time since I went to eat at that place... A lot….
And I was pleasantly surprised.
Apart from the environment, the decoration, the staff (super attentive)... you have to value the cuisine…. I'm on a diet, that's why, and I couldn't try either the meat or the winery, it's for another time.
I let myself be advised and!! He totally got it right!!!
Avocado salad with strawberry…, and many more things…. Very good.
And second… Ravioli and zucchini sauce…..!!! Amazing!!!!
Very good…
If it's not because of the regime... I won't even try it.
I will definitely return… but with my wife.

Excellent atmosphere, good service and good cuisine. We repeat every time we come. What a pity that those responsible are not able to specify on Google that the kitchen hours are not continuous (on Google they say that they work continuously from 12:00 to 0:00). We went with some friends from Avila, as we wanted to eat a good chop from Avila.
We ordered an octopus coulant (which was pure potato with 5 pieces of octopus) 4 out of 10, and four seconds between them ; two prey, a tenderloin and a chop (according to them). The chop I ordered very soon (than blood) because a fine and very passed chop came. The prey was laughing, very sparse and the sirloin, well, what's been a sirloin. Desserts and coffees, was a recipe of about 170€ (Drinking, 2 bottles of water and two cokes)

We were made to wait 45 minutes to be seated at our table despite having a reservation. There was 1 waiter waiting on all the tables, as a result service was atrocious, they spent over an hour to bring our starters after which we paid and left. Never again!!

I have been trying to write reviews of restaurants across Europe for years, trying to be balanced in my judgments while respecting the work of those who work in the sector.
In this case my experience was all-round negative
I'll summarize briefly.
Reception: considered as a transparent person.
Courtesy: not assessable as the presence of the lady who welcomed us, who took the order and who carried out the service lasted no more than thirty seconds.
Menu: simple with sufficient choice.
Wine list: I don't know if there is one. I asked if they had any Iberian rosé wine.
I was poured a glass of rosé chosen by the lady.
Food: a well-known chef would have defined them as mappazzoni with an undefinable flavour.
Bill: let's say very rich in salt.
Finally tablecloth with hole and dirty wine cups.
The view is splendid of the city as long as the windows are cleaned.

Went on a very quiet Sunday in late October.
Salad with avocado was literally drowning in dressing
I thought the patatas bravas "their way" was awful
the cheese board (waiter dropped off and provided no explanation) was awful value for around 17 euros
The veal rib was awful and not great value.
At check out, there was no checking in to assess satisfaction.
We did not have much dining success in Avila, but this was definitely a lowlight.

The experience was not satisfactory. Although the restaurant is in a very nice place by the river, the quality of some dishes we ordered were not good. The black rice was too made, the crispy prawns and the stuffed picanton had nothing special and the cod we ordered had to be changed because it was not in good condition. The service was not very professional either.

We had booked a table from the day before.
When we arrived we were told we have to wait a short while till the table is prepared… we ended up waiting for 45 mins! When we went down we found that in actual fact there were only 3 other tables! It was almost empty! We soon noted that there was only one waiter… almost an hour and a half to be served the entrees… and we didn’t even bother for the mains.. the food was good but it had been such a nightmare that we had to leave.
I pity the waiter, we wanted to up and leave but it was already late and everywhere else was closed.
Pity it dampened the mood for our holiday!

I would like to highlight the good service of the staff and the atmosphere.
But the food, although good, was not as satisfactory as we expected. The tacos, the quality/price ratio is not the best. And the brownie, although very well presented, is what matters in that, visually. It is more of a pudding or similar chocolate. It is not what one expects when ordering this dessert, but for the worse
In any case, the criticism is constructive in intention since there is a dedication to providing a good experience to the customer.

We had authentic local tapas with our drinks, a very good selection of wine and beer on draft, including the award winning 1906 Estrella Galicia. Lovely views of the roman wall and the river. The service is excellent and our bartender was a pleasure to talk to and very knowledgeable on local history. We will go back!

…they fed us at 4:30 p.m. (Something that few restaurants would do)
The food and the perfect attention.

The place has its charm, with a glass terrace overlooking the wall.

Exquisite food but too slow service... two hours between courses. It is not normal. They should add more staff.
and the place without further ado, because there is a greenhouse effect and the views cannot be seen through the trees. Furthermore, the dining room is after going down some stairs...so it is not very accessible.

Our lunch at Gloria Bendita was by far the best meal we had on our 5 days trip to Segovia and Avila. This is a restaurant, where preparing quality food for people to enjoy is the core of their business and not moving as many tourists through their establishment as possible. The food was of excellent quality, very well prepared and we were also happy with the wine recommendation that we received. In addition, the whole atmosphere was very pleasant, and there was no rushing in and out of people. Thus, our meal was an all-around enjoyable experience, and fully worth the money (about 80€ for an a la carte meal with appetisers, main dishes and dessert + wine for 2). The service was correct, and they asked us several times throughout the meal if everything was good.
Highly recommendable!

Horrible experience. 1 waiter 1 barman and 1 chef with multiple large tables. Our booking was at 10pm and even though we had an empty table they didnt let us sit down for half an hour. When we did sit down we waited for over an gour for the starters to arrive. Our moscow mules had no alcohol or gingerale in them. The food tasted good but it was too bad as a servjce
