We are proud to be one of the few pioneering family-run restaurant in Sapa since 1991 (known as the Observatory). We serve authentic and fresh Vietnamese food, as well as great pasta, pizza and burgers. Our kitchen has always been run by our mama for almost thirty years. Superfriendly staff, they gave us lots of tips on what to do in Sapa and even gave us complimentary tea at breakfast and a complimentary dessert when we returned for dinner. The owner has lived in Holland and speaks Dutch very well. Some things on the menu were a bit pricey but the food we had was very good!

Me and 2 other friends arrived in sapa for a day trip and ended going to ladybird 3 times, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Lovely seating area and the food is amazing! Best vegetarian options I’ve seen and the quality of food is the best I’ve had in Vietnam. To top it all off DZUNG is a wonderful person and made our 3 visits extra special. She is welcoming, friendly and her hospitality is 2nd to none, she is a credit to the team. We loved our visit her and would recommend anyone to come. Amazing! 11/10

The menu has a great choice, everything from western to Vietnamese food and all reasonably priced. As a family of four it can often be hard to please everyone but this restaurant did and it tasted delicious. My husband had the curry, I had the stir fried chicken and my children had spaghetti bol and chicken fried rice with some fried spring rolls. The milkshakes were also amazing. The staff are friendly and welcoming and all speak good English. We would highly recommend.

We have a late lunch after came down from Love waterfall which due to traffic . Before depart to catch our coach to Hanoi , I used the restaurant female restroom .
After leaving the restaurant and about to board the Coach , I realised due to my own carelessness , I left my hand bag inside the female restroom . To cut it short , I retreat my bag inside the restroom hook but my bag had be open and my iPhone Xmax is missing .
After asking the staffs , all claimed did not see and not even encountered on it . But after searching for a while and the owner or staffs ask how much my phone cause ? At beginning say could view the CCTV , later find out the phone cause a bomb , they decided to informed me CCTV be down for few days.
I felt dismay and I truly sure is inside the restaurant . Around 10min later , my friendly and helpful tour guide came and he used his iPhone to find my iPhone . I sat down at front entrance door chairs to wait . Amazingly, my nephew called my line again and the phone just hidden with seat cushion where I seated . I am surprise to heard the familiar ring tone , I standup and flip the cushions , there it is pay my iphone .
To my horror , the staffs still blamed my elderly parents who seated there early which bare with no cushion at all .
So , I will not recommend and come again to this restaurant .
Steak ask for medium rare , all 3plate cooked well done .
Pizza is nice .

Ladybird has a lovely roof terrace overlooking the garden in central Sapa. We were there on a sunny day and enjoyed a couple of hours eating and drinking very reasonably priced wine (65k glass of Chilean Sauvignon Blanc) before our journey back to Hanoi. Although the menu here was similar to all the others in Sapa, it stood out for its vegetarian options, which had its own section. I eat meat but try not to eat too much so was happy to order a very tasty tofu stuffed with mushrooms and beansprouts, served with tomato sauce. Vietnamese do tofu in tomato well, and this was no exception. My companions tried the pork in claypot - which didn't come in a claypot but was proclaimed delicious - and the chicken in (slightly unidentifiable) sauce, which was like a home cooked stew and also tasty. There was a bit of confusion with the ordering as I went off menu by requesting fries instead of rice, but hey, rice was fine. The menu overall had a good selection of Vietnamese and also some basic Western options, including breakfast dishes. We were also surprised to see Shashuka on the menu . I'd go back if in Sapa again.

The prices are incredibly affordable, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the fresh ingredients used in the dishes make for a delicious meal. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the view of the surrounding mountains is breathtaking. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a great dining experience in Sapa.

This is a lovely, unpretentious restarant with a family feel to it. The wait staff are kind and patient and the food - 'though it does take a moment to arrive because it is all freshly cooked - is excellent. Both western and Vietnamese dishes are tasty and beautifully presented. The single possible drawback is that wheelchair users will be unable to negotiate the steep steps into the front room restaraunt (there is another sunny dining room at the rear but with more steps). All in all when we come back to Sapa we will certainly return for a meal, and in view of other reviewers, book a room too.

Definitely one of the better & more trusted places to eat if you’re a tourist. My boyfriend really enjoyed his chicken curry here & I had the salmon skewers which was nice. Menu has a lot of international options if you don’t fancy another night eating Vietnamese food. Only down side was the service wasn’t the best, we was waiting for menus for quite a while and staff seemed to just stand around. We had dirty plates still on our table 10 minutes after we had finished eating and they was still there when we paid the bill.

We had dinner here and they have a really good menu with lots of options including vegetarian and vegan options. We ordered a selection of barbecued meats to share - pork, chicken and beef which comes with rice or French fries and we shared a salad. The meats were cooked perfectly and are served on small skewers with peppers and onion and the salad was deliciously fresh with peppers, cucumber, carrots, onions and nuts with a nice dressing. The service was great and the staff were very friendly and attentive staff. The restaurant is on the main strip and has a really good vibe and atmosphere and it felt very relaxed and no one rushed us. We very much hope to make it back for a meal here before we leave.

The hotel is right in the center of town and has a very cosy vibe! There’s a little fire place where you can hang out for a coffee or a meal. Then if you’re with a larger group there’s a full dining room towards the back.
Staff has been very kind and welcoming. They’re really helpful for ideas to plan your trip around Sa Pa.
Enjoy this clean hotel with comfy beds and good food when you visit the Area!

A very good restaurant in the town of sapa. Many options to choose from on the menu with a mixture of western and Vietnamese. Me and my partner found it difficult searching for breakfast in sapa however the ladybird had a good breakfast menu. We went back the same day for dinner and then food was fresh and delicious. The staff are also very accommodating and lovely. Will definitely be back

If you're looking for a cozy and comfortable spot to enjoy a delicious meal in Sapa, Ladybird Sapa Cafe & Restaurant is the place to go. The decor is warm and inviting, making it an ideal spot for a casual lunch or dinner. The menu has something for everyone, from the Ladybird Signature Burger to a variety of international dishes. The food is always fresh and flavorful, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Plus, parking is available for those who are driving.

The generous portions of their Roasted Chicken Thighs with Mushroom Cream Sauce and Ladybird Signature Burger are sure to leave you full and satisfied. The homemade sauces that accompany each dish are simply divine! The atmosphere is casual and inviting, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy your meal. Highly recommended!

So many places to choose from in Sapa, so we just looked on Google for breakfast spots near our hotel, and ended up here partly because we liked the name. We were not disappointed - the crepes with chocolate were decadent, and the veg. sandwich exactly what I was craving. Good selection of teas.
