We had heard so much about this place so wanted to go there, we got there about 7pm for dinner, it was quite busy with most tables taken, a chilled out vibe. It was really hot as it's all open, with some fans. The food was nice and good drinks. It kicked off later into a bit of a party. Good place to go while in Canggu

Enjoyed an afternoon at this restaurant. Chris the Manager is very helpful and always smiling while managing guests. The Saturday market in their premises was amazing with great stuff sold at reasonable prices. Beautiful views of Canggu Boto Bolan Canggu beach with chilled draft beer and crispy fish bao buns makes for a lovely weekend. We will be back!

Came here around 23h after dinner as we’d been told this place always draws a crowd at night. Beers were quite cheap, place had a nice atmosphere, but quite some 18 year olds on flipflops, having what seemed to be their first beers :D along with their loud and wild drunk dancing. All in all, a nice night with good house music, with a lot of people dancing, but a bit too hot for my liking! They could do with some more fans to keep it cooler. The party stopped at 1 AM, but continued in Sand Bar at the beach, right beside Old Man’s.

Just ate the fish and chips which cant be called fish because the taste/texture and colour totally unknown. The fish was grey and black in areas, smell was strange and the texture unpleasant. Even the chips which used to be good are now greasy and undercooked. If you cant cook even half decent fish and chips dont bother.

The adverts all over said free before 9pm on NYE and you guys decided to charge 200k 15min to 9. Disgusting. Music was sh** and the whole night ruined, never again. worst money ever spent

Sorry about that. If you were here you would know that the whole area was absolutely rammed. As for the 200K (IDR) , $20 AUD or 10 pounds (depending on where you're from)... entry for a NYE party on the beach in Bali with FREESTYLERS headlining and FREE entry before 8:45pm I have no comeback apologies. The beach was free all night. Over 3000 people in Old Mans and we all had a great time. Thanks for your feedback

My friend ask me to join early dinner here, had promo ini weekend for sushi, order 2 sushi with pasta. The service so fast, and this restaurant allow to bring tumblr. You can see beach from the restaurant, enjoying the music from DJ, the food also delicious, yummy!! Worth your time and money.

I know this place is famous not just their tasty and cheap food & beverages but also their lovely vibes. At first, I enjoyed the night there for drinks but I think their staff is not friendly enough especially the bartenders. I asked them about their menu but they just seem not interest to assist me. I might not come often but will think twice to go there

Cons
Having to queue, order and pay at TWO separate counters for food and drinks.
2-man band playing awful covers. And the singer talking and trying to get the crowd to sing along or dance.
Very noisy. Could not talk above the din. Destroyed dining experience as we could not calm down to enjoy the food.
Cons
Food is served pretty fast.
Tasty, food portions and well presented.
Nah. Won’t go again.

Not actually on beach this is a large open space bar with music catering to mainly the youngest of crowds. If that’s what you are looking for you have found it. If you want more relaxed and beach access go to the Lawn. Drinks here are decent didn’t try any food.

I knew this place and many times been to the beach in front of it. But the way it look from outside just not inviting.
I came to this place as my Australian friends came to Bali and she decide to have girl nite. I didnt know the venue until she told me that night that we will have drinks at Old Mans. I have no choice and need to go there.
This place is not my type.
I dont like to go to place where people dont know how to dress-up, bare foot, dirty cloth. I mean not proper. You want to go to a bar/ place where you feel nice and convinient, smell nice and enjoy chatting while enjoy meal/ drinks, right?? I dont think this is the place. Most of my friend said this is awfull place to hang out.
Maybe this is kind of local shop/ warung but have bigger area.
Please Do not imagine this place like normal beach club. Its kind like normal cafe by the beach or carpark, to get drink and chit chat with friends.
I dont think will come back or recommend this place.
I am sorry. This is just not the place that I looking for spending my money.

This place has a great vibe with good music. I’d happily come back again. Only thing is we visited Old Man’s and Mexicana across the road and ordered a drink from each place with ice in it. Unfortunately we ended up sick with Bali belly after this so I’d just be careful and not drink anything with ice in it! Might not have been Old Man’s but just writing this to hopefully help someone else avoid getting sick

Place is pretty average. Told the beer pong comp’ was on at 7 & sign up is at 6pm. Got here early, asked the guy running it at 5:58 to register only to be abruptly/rudely told “I’m not doing it now, I do it at 6 down there”. Went back and sat down, couple of minutes later, we went down to register only to be told “we are full and I have 250 names down”. Find it impossible considering there wasn’t even 250 people in the whole venue. Small selection of cocktail drinks at not very good price. Considering the rudeness and the way the place is run, wouldn’t return and %100 wouldn’t recommend. FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Chef Daniella was great Suggested a couple of his specials and they were amazing. Pizza was best I’ve had in a long time. Jalapeño bites very good, and his special arancini was amazing. Venue was a bit loud but not as bad as the rest of CANGGU beach.

Always be a great place in the weekend with so many of friends to get more friends again and again.
I love this place. The drink is'nt to expensive with happy hour bintang, the food actually great to but not the best. I mean this is perfect place for find a new life

We decided to visit Old Man’s after seeing an Instagram post about their Party Night’s. We arrived for 2 for 1 Happy Hour & got a great booth overlooking the sea. Good music & plenty of other guests. They were also serving BB52 food, which is amazing.
Everything was great until I live singer came on & ruined the whole atmosphere. Totally different & not very good.
People started to gradually leave, as we did.
