We arrived and sitted at the dining section. Then changed to bar seating facing the pool. Baramundi was great and pizza ok, enjoying our time when the 'new shift'waitress decided to ruin our day with asking if my husband's beer was finished ( still half though) and we said obviously not yet she touched 'touched' his beer without permission saying i will pour it in the glass for you, and we said NO. Then she said do you want to order anything else ( it was annoying by this time considering we were just enjoying the vibe and almost finished food, and she came in the picture) Then she said if you do not want to pay now, then we offer you to open tab and leave your ID and credit card. Which just ruin the whole day.
We spoke to the manager on duty and he did say sorry for the miscommunication saying that there have been events where guest don't pay. We said we were sitting at the dining area but because there was a non smoking policy the other waitress told us we can move to the bar area. This was lunch time.
So the manager said sorry for not informing their policy upfront ( it would have been better if they did that, so it doesn't ruin your mood) . For all we know that there wasn't any trust for 'locals' dining at The Lawn.
You guys should have been more communicative up front. With your tax and service charge high, the way you handled your policy was not polite for the customers.
Thank you for the responsive manager on duty for handling our complaint although we did not accept the Free beer and coffee. But good gesture.

Located near Batu Bolong beach, the Lawn really has a great ambiance, with music and good foods by the beach. Pool also available with pool bed lounge facing to the beach, really nice place to chill while watching the sunsets. Too bad when me and my friends were there it rained heavily, but stay calm they have temporary rooftop got you covered.

This place did not have the wow factor for me. It was just OK. when we walked in we were told that we could either sit on the astroturf for free, or sit on the beach lounges for a minumum spend of AU$150. Cocktails were average. Scene was package tourist/bogan. The sunset was great, but would have been better from another venue. There was nothing wrong with this place, but it was average. The best part of the bar was the advertising poster.

Today I went to the weekend brunch because a friend has recommended me to try.
It was 9:45am I took my food and I sat ready to enjoy my breakfast, when suddenly they started playing a radio with hard rock music super loud! 9:45am at breakfast time!!
I asked the staff to please turn down the music or at least put a playlist suitable to a breakfast time. And the most amazing answer came: Sorry we can't do it, because it's Australia day.
What the hell guys, seriously? There's no respect for your own clients? Breakfast time with music for a sunset with bintangs?
So I had to eat my break and no chances to talked with my friends and her relaxed because the music.
And btw they were no people celebrating Australia day yet, because was 9:45 in the morning.

Unbelievably horrible. The worst calamari I have ever tasted with some sort of a bubbling already spoiled red Sambal sauce. Ice coffee from an instant package with fake milk and way to much water.
If you have a restaurant in bali and you don’t know how to deep fry something and you can’t provide good coffee in a country surrounded by great coffee you have a serious problem. The menu is not updated in the website and is way to expensive. The dirty scary bad fake green grass Mat at a restaurant called the lawn? Apparently someone’s attempt at sarcasm.
What a waste of a beautiful location. There is no way the runner up chef of the year from Australia resides in that kitchen so quit lying to the public. The service was also less then to be desired. The bar tender didn’t know how to use the computer and the foreign non local manager advertised a special but didn’t know the price . I even new as it was on there website from the old menu that was not being sold. This dish had been placed back for sale as a Mother’s Day special.
Please save your money and dine at any of the other great choices in canggu. The hostess outside was the best part of this atrocious event. She was very nice and professional.

I had an amazing time at the Lawn. It is such a chill and fun place. I think this is actually the first beach club in my visit to Bali that was up my alley. It is classy, trendy, intimate, not too crazy with "the party people" and the food was the yummiest!
But I would say the best thing about the Lawn is the service! The best service I have received so far the whole time I have been in Bali! I would like to to say thank you to Mita and Gunawan for such a warm welcome and great service. I could go to so many other places in Canggu or Seminiyak but I think I will just keep coming back here-I am one happy customer!

The lawn canggu started its business from VW kombi, serving margaritas. and the business growing and become part of the community in canggu.
I like this place having an outdoor and semi-indoor space. you can go directly to the beach, do surfing, jogging, walking, and come back to the lawn and enjoy your cocktail.
The staffs are helpful and friendly. There are so many varieties of drinks that you can have.
The lawn is serving simple food, from salad, pastas, pizza, and steak.
Over all, The lawn canggu is a good place to hangout, enjoy sunset and to eat. Selamat makan!

After visiting last year we was all excited to get back upon our return to Bali. Imagine our disappointment when the food was not as good and the resident Tuesday night band was no longer there!
One of us ordered fish that was rubbery and inedible and most of the other dishes not that tasty.
I am not sure what has gone on in between our visits but something seems awry.

A beautiful day spent at the Lawn, we had a day bed and alternated swimming in the infinity pool and lazing away on the lounge, with ocean dips in between.
The food was delicious (my favourite was the burrata tartine), every cocktail we tasted was divine and the service impeccable.
Would not hesitate to recommend to others, and will be back next time we’re in Canggu.

We enjoyed this location as it wasn’t full of kids or college craziness either. Decent food options great space on the beach and around the pool. Some cost for beach beds in the form of a required amount spent on food and drink. (I think it was 350,000 IDR for each beach bed. If you plan to stay for many hours it’s easy to reach.

Really enjoyed this place. It is a smaller, more intimate beach club but has a great atmosphere and view of the beach and amazing sunsets. Service is excellent and accommodating. You can hire beach towels for 50,000r. Food is really good and delicious too, definitely try the empanadas and fish arancini balls. Cocktail, especially the frozen daiquiris. Spent all afternoon here and loved the experience. When leaving might be hard to get a taxi, we asked the concierge and there was no problem.

The place was super busy even during the covid restriction period and we had to wait about half an hour to get a table. The service is good, fast and effective. The place has OK decor, basically a lawn. The funniest thing is that the lawn is artificial, which I find quite ironic :) We did not try the food, went only for drinks and the cocktails were good, albeit pricey for this kind of place. OK place to visit for a nice sunset view and some drinks, but don't expect anything special.

I want to like The Lawn more than I actually do. The beach, open floor plan is really fun, the atmosphere has a nice vibe. It’s the kind of place you want to hang out with your friends for a while. The food is ok and priced more than its value. But then, the music cranks up to a screeching volume and we have to leave. Pity really.

Had a great day doing something we would not normally do in Bali. Venue was lovely and clean with both beach chairs or Large daybeds. The minimum spend was a bit high but once we ordered food and a few cocktails we managed to reach it. Staff were very good. Great views

Been here twice already, the first one was when pandemic hit bali so hard at end of 2020, the service was fine. they put me at the nice seat, attentive to my orders and full of smile. please take note that I'm a local tourist.
I ordered their chicken wings and 1 of their cocktails, again it was nice.
then last 2 weeks around end of Nov 2021, bare in mind that Government already lifted the regulation so Bali is starting to get busy but not "there" yet. I went there again with my boyfriend due to my previous experience that this is a quite nice beach house. when we went there there were only 2 other groups, consist of 4-6 people and 1 couple. they were seated nicely.
but when I want to seat at the "4 seater" table, she refused to let me (yes it's a particular person), and said it was reserved. I pointed many locations and again she said the same thing. for the record, I did not ask for the sofa at their grass area. I just want a decent table at their indoor restaurant, which I got previous year and again there are no "reserved" plates on those table.
so I just walked out the scene right away and go to another beach house that served us well and gave us a nice seat.
For the management, please don't make excuses. I don't want to hear it.
just train your staff nicely.
