the atmosphere is good. It is THE place to eat in Kodiak. Most of the food is fried unless you get a salad. Its actually quite boring if you live there, because the food just doesn't have that fresh appeal to it. Its where most go though for local conversation.

Had dinner there the other night with my family...... I had fish and chips, it was soggy and the chips were cold! We drank water and found it very hard to get refills! I personally do not recommend it!

We've come to Kodiak three different years and we eat at Henry's at least a couple times each visit. I'll keep this short: Get the Cajun Calimari!!! They have regular and cajun. Don't be afraid of it being spicy. On a spicy scale of 1 to 10, it is a 1 at most, but much more flavorful compared to the... More

If your up for pasta get the Smoked Salmon Fettuccini with red sauce and vegetables. Always a hit when I go there.

Had to spend two days in Kodiak and this was within walking distance from hotel. We had burgers, onion rings (these are great!), steak, and various types of seafood. All was great. Service was okay. Many TVs for game viewing. A variety of beers on tap with a TV screen to tell you what is available and how much is... More

If you like fried you'll be fine. They manage to quite kill the scallops, really sweet and tasty. The fish and prawns could have been anything a real shame as the cod was apparently fresh

We have eaten here many times and the food is usually pretty decent. I once got the BBQ ribs and they were awful, however they redeem themselves with their sandwiches, burgers and fries. The servers are usually great too. A nice family restaurant to go to, considering the limited choices available.

Old Favorite in Downtown Kodiak. 20 brews on tap with Alaskan micros the main focus. (Have a few, the taxi stop is right in front.) Ordered the Grilled Cod which was better than a battered fish n chips. Simple but so good like a shore lunch. Calamari and Scallops seemed to be popular and enjoyed by other patrons.

Dozens of local beers on tap and great food with sports on tv! Friendly staff and moderately priced!

We stopped for lunch and had the elk chile. The wait staff is either over-worked or lacks customer focus as service was very slow and not especially friendly. They seemed to focus on the locals to the expense of visitors. The elk chile was a huge helping but the presentation was lack-luster and the theme of the chile appeared to... More
