Veronica's is a wonderful place for a good soup and sandwhich lunch. It is also a nice place to have good cup of coffee and dessert. The building was part of Fort Kenai when the town was built by Russian fur traders and is therefore quite small. The bluff looking over the mouth of the Kenai River and the volcanoes... More

Veronica's is situated in the heart of old town Kenai along the walking tour. At first you think it's one of those 'boutique-ey' places only the wives or girlfriends will like and as you walk it you get hit with some of that boutique feel but not in the least overwhelming and I found the inside experience great. Neil, the... More

All of their food is excellent and it's such a cute place with friendly staff. Nice area for walking as well, and a short walk from Beluga Lookout where we stayed.

Stopped here for lunch after a nice walk on the beach. Had coffee and sandwiches all of which were great.. My husband had the pastrami and I enjoyed the roast beef. Great service and very reasonable on the prices.

Located on the bluff, its a million dollar view. Small cafe style restaurant with soups and sandwiches. Homemade breads..

We visited the Russian Orthodox Church across the street and came here for lunch. We enjoyed it all. Clam Chowder was excellent, sandwiches tasty, and wraps were quite generous and tasty.....had to take some home so we could eat deserts..Coconut cheesecake was the tops, but the mixed berry crisp was excellent too. It is a fun, quaint place and our... More

Stopped in to Veronica's today for lunch and found it once again to be under new management. The Menu is much the same (good) and now you order at the table, rather than standing in line at the register... I had the pastry quiche and a cup of clam chowder. The quiche was excellent, and the chowder different but pretty... More

Last week I took a visiting friend for a late lunch at Veronica's, and once again, was not disappointed. My cup of soup was more meat than soup, and was accompanied by a generous slab of cornbread and a helping of their tasty pasta salad. HIT THE SPOT! My guest had the wrap special, chicken ceasar salad, with a serving... More
