Loved it! I walked right by the sign the first time I went browser for a place to eat. But I'm glad I finally found it. I was reading the menu when "V" invited me in and was prompt to tell me they had a two-bite guarantee! Not that I needed it. I had the spicy beef bowl which was... More

My husband and I happened upon this restaurant while we were walking in downtown Juneau during a downpour. What a fantastic find! This restaurant offers Koren-Mexican fusion food. I love the fact that they clearly mark gluten-free offerings on their menu. I can honestly say that whatever you pick from the menu, you can't go wrong. Their bulgogi steak is... More

If you're in Juneau, highly recommend this place. The combination works! Affordable and tasty. We had bulgogi nachos to start (amazing) and then Korean bbq tacos and cochinitas. Definitely worth going for something different.

People we met on the ferry to Juneau recommended this place. The idea of Korean and Mexican fusion sounded strange, but we were glad we took the risk. The flavors were interesting and well-blended. Our dishes were more Asian than Mexican. The place was simple and seemed like it was geared for the locals more than the tourists, which was... More

V's has a nice atmosphere ... turned a dark basement into an attractive upscale environment. The service on our two visits (off hours) was friendly, maybe even over solicitous, and efficient. There are elements of the menu which are good, like the slaw, and perhaps many others that we have not eaten that others have - and have raved about.... More

V's is a couple of blocks from the main tourist area in Juneau but it is definitely worth the effort to find it (a slight up hill climb). We ate their last night and ordered their Thir$ty Thur$day special - any two tacos plus a beer or one of the house shrub drinks for $11 (a very good deal for... More

I'll be honest, Juneau is not necessarily known for its amazing restaurants, but V's is a find. It is described as Mexican Korean fusion and well whatever it is, it's tasty. I dug that they had a two bite take back policy which the nice waitress explained was to encourage you to try some of their signature dishes. If you... More

This restaurant mixes Mexican and Korean cooking and comes out a winner. We had tacos with a Korean twist, and they were very good

I can't recommend this place enough! I hiked to gastineau peak the day I ate here and thank god cause I tried every taco on the menu! I recommend the bulgogi and chicken. Flavors are truly unique and added bonus with the Asian slaw!!! Bring your appetite. The cook had a sweet beard bet and he usually pokes he's head... More
