Nice atmosphere. The server didn’t make us feel welcome. Asked us to move after seated by another waitress, even though the restaurant was empty. Great food and reasonably price, nice cocktails and lovely spot. We had both dinner and lunch there a few times and found the menu choices great.

We went for lunch and dinner, and both times we waited more than 1 hour to be served (with the restaurant half empty). Our waitress was more than annoyed and 5 minutes after she served our pizzas she told us: "when you are ready you...can pay at the counter". We dined here at night on a number of occasions during our stay on Aitutaki. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, with a verandah and outside area overlooking the reef. Headed here for lunch to switch things up from eating at our resort. Super cute local little pub, with views of the ocean. The cocktail list was also quite cheap and our cocktails were delicious. I got the Carbonara and can honestly say as a...creamy pasta lover who had been craving pasta our whole holiyay it was absolutely delicious 11/10. It was also a massive portion! My partner got the meat lovers pizza and discovered it had quite a few veggies on it as well (which it didn’t say on the menu) but he’s a fussy guy, so just a heads up for anyone ordering in the future! I was super happy with my meal and consider it the best dish I had on the island compared to our resort food, and other restaurants we ate at in Aitutaki. 10/10 vibes, location, drinks & foodMore

An alternative to where we stayed and seemed really popular. We ate there a couple of times and the food was plentiful and good value. Both times there seemed to be only a couple of staff available and with 30 odd people waiting to be...served it meant a lengthy wait. Was not my first pick of restaurants close by the Lagoon Resort but with Blue Lagoon having a buffet night, we chose to dine here and was pleasantly surprised. This restaurant reminds me of swashbucklers in Auckland which quirky memorabilia around the walls. The food...was good value and lots of it. Staff were lovely but food service a little bit slow as there were a few people in there.More

We ate here one night for change from the nearby resort. The place was really busy with locals, and clearly they were short staffed, it was evident that the waitress were working as hard as they could. Our meal and drinks still managed to arrive...without too much wait, and we enjoyed it very muchMore

Good food at reasonable prices. Great location if staying at Aitutaki Private Island Resort as it is a very short walk from the ferry and offers a a good dining alternative. Would definitely visit again.

2 out of 5 is probably a bit generous to be honest! The lady behind the bar was very rude and the cocktails were undrinkable.

We visited on a busy Sunday evening for dinner, after hearing mixed reviews after we had made our booking was wasn’t sure what to expect. BUT the service was great , food was fast to be delivered to the table and the meals were excellent,...we had the fish and chips and fish curry. The curry was full of fish and the curry had a great flavour. The fish and chips was also beautifully cooked and 2 large pieces. The cocktails was the cheapest we found on the island and big sizes. Owner was smoking in the no smoking area and told customers as he owned it he could and anyone else should go to the no smoking area, smoke was blowing into the bar! And so that put us off somewhat but still tried it a...few days later to see how the food was, we opted for the suggestions (local fantastic fish) and I really think it was to get rid of the reheated left overs, gross was an understatment, dry boney fish, packet smash or something along with vegies that should have been thrown out.
