Coffee, atmosphere, location, service and the food amazingly to die for. Catrina has this place running like a machine. The pineapple cake is to die for and the coffee is spot on. An absolute must on the to do list.

We frequented the Koru Café regularly while in Aitutaki on our honeymoon. The coffee is definitely the best on the island. Breakfast was good - ample portions, and with absolutely delicious eggs - but I missed pancakes. We also liked the sandwiches; the relish was delicious. However, sometimes the chicken used for the sandwiches didn't taste very fresh, which was... More

We had a late lunch here with a couple of local beers followed by coffee. The food was fresh and tasted great, the coffee the best we'd had for a while and the service is wonderful. They recommended a lagoon cruise which was perfect for us. A must visit for a decent coffee and NZ quality food.

Really great food and for breakfast or lunch or if you are lucky on a Saturday that they have entertainment with "Open Mike" sessions with local entertainer Frank Sabatini, then even better

I was going to abstain from coffee during my holiday until I went to Koru Cafe. I just couldn't resist, and it was worth it. I got a take away chicken sandwich and that was delicious. A nice change from the fried food on the island.

We stayed close to Koru and would regularly visit here for a coffee fix! Very good coffee and dessert! I regret not getting a meal here though cause the menu looked good! We had free breakfast at our accomodation so couldn't waste that to get breakfast at Koru. Kara usually makes the coffee and she's very friendly. Next time we... More

We skipped the continental breakfast offered by our hotel to come here every morning and enjoy the delicious coffees, homemade breads and wonderful breakfasts among the classiest art and people on the island. What a find!

fab, choice, tops, etc. Actually so good i ate there every morning for 3 days i was on island. Great coffee and people passionate about making the best coffee (even with UHT). Local Free range eggs cooked almost perfectly, streaky bacon, home made breads. And local tomatoes.... they were outstanding, like what we used to have as kids, rich, flavoursome... More

We had a couple of breakfasts and lunches here. Nothing to complain about at all. Great food and generous servings. Highly recommend it. We were lucky that it was within easy walking distance for us from where we were staying (Samade).
