The french owner is married to a tica, so you will find one of the best French bakery with the warm welcome of costa rican people. Be sure of taste the macaroons, the lemon pie and the eclairs.
Went for lunch with a friend. The chicken baguette was wonderful, although portions are small. The lunch menu is very limited. Coffee was very good. They have a good assortment of great pastries. I loved the Opera. Many people also come for take-out, mostly bread...More
Delicious food, unsurpassed coffee. We had the croque madame the first time, and were never disappointed by anything we ordered after that. The staff were helpful, friendly and attentive. I wish I could have their coffee every morning.
This cafe is small but easy to reach. Upstairs is a bit warm. Downstairs is really crowded. Cafe was good, but expensive. They were out of a lot of things...croissants with chocolate, croissants with almonds, macaroons, etc. A real disappointment.
Small place that has great pastries, croissants, French bread, sweets, quiches or sandwiches with salad. Great lunch place or take out for pastries.
