I go to the restaurant for the fish normally, best in San Jose. Last night they did not have Covina, so I ordered Chicken a la Marsala, with pasta on the side. Maybe best Marsala I have ever had. The restaurant is charming in one of the nicest parts of San Jose. The service is professional, friendly and first class.... More

The restaurant design wise is not that nice, you would not guess you are at an italian restaurant, and the chairs are not that comfy.. but the food makes up for that and beyond. My favorite plate, the one I order every time I visit is the fish in olive, white wine, garlic and lemon sauce with a aglio and... More

We loved the focaccia caprese. The place is cozy and the attention was so good. Also the amount of fod served was a lot, I mean, the plate of pasta was so big! The amount of fod options is very good too, we definitely come back.

This place is frequented by locals in the Paseo Gastronomico area serving standard Italian fare. We shared an antipasto appetizer and then both had pasta that was one of the daily specials. I wouldn't say it was the best Italian food I've ever had, but was the best dinner we have had in Costa Rica. The waiter was very attentive... More

I needed a simple & early dinner--arrived around 6:45 (but the place was filling up by 7:00) They made me feel welcome. The waiter had excellent cheerful English. The Rigatoni Primavera was quite tasty!

Bar none, the best restaurant in San Jose. I have tried them all. Tony and Coro are like family. The sea bass and mushroom ravioli are as good as any dish I have had in the states. I highly recommend and will be back on my next visit.
