Nice place, not crowded, down a side street but right near a bus stop. I had breaded fish with rice beans, plantains, and some yellow stuff ive been served other places. Sangria was ok, had lots of fruit pieces in it

We have loved this place for a few years. We have been here with friends several times but no more. What used to be a reasonable local place called a "soda" is no longer.mthe prices are now quite high and compared to other above average places to go, this would move to the lower end of the scale. A little off the beaten path, this friendly open-air family restaurant is the place the go for authentic Costa Rican cuisine. Gojo’s barbeque fish (whole grilled snapper) was simply the best fish I have ever had to the pleasure to eat. My husband loved the fish stew. Went here for dinner for some typical Costa Rican food and we were not disappointed. Ended going back for lunch. The whole BBQ'd red snapper was great and everything was very good and a great value. Nice change from hotel dining.

Very pleased to find out that doña Ana the founder of this place is back, we stoped going when she left, she is a real heart-cooker she puts love in the food she cooks. We have told all our friends to go back as the food is gone back to be supreme.On the downside the prices we think have gone... More
