Excellent food. From their fresh local seafood to their tamarind pork chops to even the most simple of local fare like chicken and rice... It was excellent across the board.

We were directed to this restaurant while looking for another. What a fortunate happenstance! It's slightly off the beaten path so prices are much better. Locals even eat there! The seafood is fantastic and fresh and had the home cooked feel to it (as though someone's mother was cooking for us). We were well taken care of.

We had been eating quite a bit of resort food and wanted some more local traditional food. We headed there one evening (it's off the main path across the bridge) and found it after some misdirection. Best restaurant of our trip and we enjoyed the seafood soups, several appetizers, and seafood plates.

Great food, great service!! Great price!!! We ate here twice during our stay in Quepos!! We ate shrimp al ajillo and fish fillet al limon!! We absolutely loved it!! Kukula's has a great local feel and the food is awesome. Great prices too. The food in Manual Antonio area can be very expensive. I think this is the best deal in town with a cool casual local vibe and Yummy food! Kukula is a great cook. We also hired him to cook at our house we rented and it... More

We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel, and were thrilled not to find many tourists, rather, lots of families and locals. The seafood (from lovely ceviche to delicious stuffed calamari) is excellent and very reasonably priced. The ambiance is quiet, the decor simple and welcoming.

This seafood restaurant is reasonably priced and has some tasty dishes. I had the mixed ceviche with plantains, which was the best ceviche in Quepos. I also had the pasta with seafood in white sauce. Also a very good choice. The service was good and I like that you can see inside the kitchen. Will go back for more and... More

Local open air restaurant, looks like local family owned. Cute little place with tin roof. My shrimp scampi was the best I had. Large portions, large shrimp with salad and rice perfecto. Great casual dining with good fresh food.
