After reading the reviews, we had high expectations for La Dolce Vita but were underwhelmed, mostly by the food. Bruscetta consisted of toasted white bread topped with tomato sauce. Pasta with Red Sauce Al Tonno was made with canned tuna. The lasagna wasn't bad, albeit a bit burnt and tough on the edges. Prices were reasonable, but don't forget to... More

My boyfriend and I got greeted by a nice man from Switzerland. He was only helping the restaurant for a later group reservation and you could really tell that he wasn't a waiter, not really coordinated and slow service. Although the service was ok, the food was seriously bad. I could've done a much better job by just buying premade... More

We wound up here by accident as our goal was El Gran Escape in Quepos but it was closed and looked like gone forever. So we walked the streets of Quepos and came upon this restaurant. My husband and I had two pasta dishes which took a while to prepare as they made everything from scratch but it was worth... More

Travelling with two young kids for 3+ weeks, one of the staples we were missing from our diets were pasta dishes of any kind. At A Dolce Vita near the bus terminal and the Best Western, we were thrilled by both the selection and the choices we made. Carbonara was lovely, just spot on, though a little salty for the... More

I've never had Italian food this bad. The pizza was frozen and had cheese singles as a topping. The fries were also disgusting. The waitress was unbelievably rude and obnoxious. So many other great local haunts in Quepos - stay away from this place.

This place has got proper home made pizzas that my husband fell totally in love with, and a spaghetti with bacon and broccoli that became my favourite during the days we stayed in Quepos. A beautiful little restaurante with a will-strong little lady owner that we ALSO fell in love with! Terry (the owner) recommends and hits spot on every... More

By far the worst restaurant experience in my life! Food was cold and cook was unbelievably rude As recommended from the cook personally we ordered a mix of three different lasagna. I do not even know how to begin describing this. Two of the three types tastes stale and the third was uneatable. When we were asked how we liked... More

This is one of the worst experiences in Quepos, where food is usally very good even in simple local places BUT this place is really horribel I got a chance to take a look into the kitchen and was really shocked - it is dirty and does not meet the hygiene requirements. Two friends of mine got , after eating... More

Well, I cannot say that everything that is served by that restaurant is terrible, but at least the dishes we (3 of my friends and I) had were it! We were 4 german guys and were very hungry. Luckily the cook spoke german as well and recommended us the "3 ways of Lasagne". You get three different types of Lasagne... More
