The food and service was outstanding. It has a great atomosphere and an outstanding wine selection. The view you have of the sunset is breathtaking. A truly romantic setting and a place you will never forget.

We recently had the pleasure of watching a magificent and breathtaking sunset, along with a few other fortunate couples, at this incredible restaurant. Everything was just so perfect, including the cocktails, appetizers, mains, and desert. My favourite was the Crusted Ginger and Soy Tuna. It was cooked to perfection and so flavourful. The service was also INCREDIBLE. Thank you Roy... More

Excellent food and nice to have a menu with a local twist. Much of the food in the area is expensive and pretty poor. la Luna was more expensive but good value especially for the the overall experience and quality of the food. Visiting doesn't need to be a special occasion, it can be a guaranteed lovely and memorable meal/... More

We ate at La Luna on our last night after being in Costa Rica for 10 days. It was the best service and the best food of our whole trip! Everyone was so friendly and multiple staff members checked in on us throughout the evening to see how we were doing and each one had conversations with us and were... More

Enjoyed lunch there as part of the 4-1 combo tour of Arenal. Food was great; lots of choices with both local and international options.

Thank you for taking the time to review our La Luna Restaurant and your luncheon experience. We hope to see you again when next in the Manuel Antonio area. Try us for sunset tapas and cocktail hour.......you won't be disappointed! Perched high atop Gaia Mountain, we have the very best sunset vistas around. Thanks for sharing on this TripAdvisor forum. We had a very enjoyable dinner here with a balcony table with a lovely view. The food was good rather than superb and service was fine. For us, an even better choice was the beach restaurant at arenas del mar, particularly for their weekly street food night which is really good. If you're staying for a few nights in MA,... More

We thank you for participating in this Forum, but your comments on Gaia are so limited that it would hardly qualify as a review. On the other hand, your much more detailed account of the restaurant at Arenas del Mar, obviously was much more meticulous, detailed and created an awkward part of the evaluation of La Luna. We are friends... More

Surprised at the reviews for this restaurant, we are not foodies by any stretch, but for the price of the food I would expect it to have been better, I ordered the local Costa Rican stew, with the tenderloin steak tips, the sauce was beautiful but the steak was anything but tender, my partner ordered the fish and again said... We thank you for your review but are very suprised at your evaluation taking into account that during your three day stay, your entire NOT FREE food consumption was a beef goulash and a seafood casserole. The rest of the food were the complementary breakfast tapas and cocktails. Other than that, you had a consumption of 6 beers, 1 botl... More

We came here on my 40th birthday to celebrate. I'm so glad we picked this place. It was all around amazing! They take you up to the restaurant in a golf cart (which my kids loved) & then you take an elevator up to the restaurant. We arrived around 5:10pm so it was perfect timing to see the beautiful sunset.... More
