Even the rain couldn't keep us away from this restaurant. The food was one of the best meals we had in Costa Rica. Service was top notch too.

We dined here on a Wednesday evening after having received a recommendation from a local tour guide. It was after sunset, but it would have been a great spot to view it. The food was delicious, mostly seafood offerings. The chef's recommendation for the seared tuna was a garlic cream sauce, which was amazing along with the sauteed veggies. Our... More

Had the whole red snapper with veggies supplemented by the seafood soup and a pitcher of mango colada. The red snapper was very good, as were the veggies. The soup was even better - hearty with no shortage of seafood. Divebar-ish feel to the establishment, fairly cozy though. Went there after dark - no review of the landscape.

We got the seafood platter and it was one of the best that we've ever had. Everything was very fresh and delicious. Loved their 2/1 happy hour drink specials. The sunset views were outstanding and the service was very good. Highly recommend.

This restaurant has a great menu, very flavorful and extensive. The same can be said about their bar menu. The ambiance is great, with a great view open to the Pacific. However, we ran behind during the day and got here after sunset so we couldn't enjoy the view. They did have live music until about 9pm, which is normal... More

We ate at this restaurant on Valenties day so maybe that's why the service was a bit off. The food was very good and the view is excellent.

We came for a beautiful sunset, and we had that and an incredible meal of grilled shrimp and grilled snapper. Amazingly, their power was out, so we dined by candlelight! They never missed a beat, and still served an incredibly delicious meal!

Great local restaurant, with an excellent view of the Pacific (the sun had set by the time arrived. In February the sunsets at around 5:45 PM, I would get before if that option works. Our servers were very attentive. Our primary waiter recommend the seafood platter with fresh lobster and shrimps, excellent. Couple 3 beers and reasonable price for the... More

Really, really neat, locally owned and managed place with really good, fresh off the boat fish. Sited on edge of cliff overlooking the Pacific. Good menu range with a neat "dish for 4" with incredible range of fin and shell fish included. Strong recommendation.

Mar Luna is relaxed in the "Key West" sense but the food is very good and of good value. It is very popular for sunset dining so make a reservation.
