Excellent friendly service by the group of attractive young Argentinian men who work here. The food is delicious and the portions huge. We got the mixed grill for two and could have easily fed four people. We each drank two pina coladas - twice as much as we normally would. It is open air with the grill along the side... More

This place is perfect. Greeted warmly. Great service, fresh grilled meat with Argentina spices and verde sauce. I ordered the fresh greens and grilled veggies and mashed potatoes with 1/4 chicken. Large portions. The guy in charge of the BBQ has got to be the hardest working guy! We loved it.

My husband has talked about this place since the last time he was in santa theresa. He wasn't wrong. We have been twice. Everything is cooked over a wood fire and is so tender. All dishes come with salad and fries. The accompanying sauces were great.

Went with a big group of friends and they did an outstanding job of feeding us fantastic grilled meat and seafood.

The food is DELICIOUS!! Well seasoned, meat was tender. Service was impeccable. One of the best meals I've ever had by far.

Sometimes after eating fresh fish and healthy food for a week at the beach, you need a steak. And this place delivers and then some. Perfect seasoning, sear and the chimichurri rounds things out

Las Piedras, located in the town of Santa Teresa is as Argentinian as "Pura Vida" is Costa Rican. Argentina has a long recognized tradition for quality meat cuts and dishes, which Las Piedras delivers on. The establishment was started more than 20 years ago by an Argentinian that moved to Costa Rica and started selling empanadas in the town of... More

The food here was so incredibly delicious and flavorful. Friendly staff and great service. One of the best steaks I have ever had. Make sure to try the mixed plate. It gives you a little bit of everything to try. Amazing quality meats and just a great restaurant.

We had five chickens done for take out and they were superb. Charming owner/chef and the staff was very friendly. Mal Pais can be hot so be sure to sit as far away from the open grill as you can. Great atmosphere though we were not there when it was dry and therefore dusty--as most of the places do--it sits... More
