Good, tasty and fresh. Nice to sit there with a view of the passing people. Clean and good service. We had a mixed seafood dish and it was soooo yummy.

This place does not look fancy, but food is great! We stayed in Puerto Viejo 3 nights, and we ate there 2 nights. Ceviche was so yummy! Great price, fresh fish and octopus, and chilled. We loved it. We also got Caribbean style fried red snapper 1st night. And we got Sea bass with coconut sauce the 2nd night. They... More

Two Pina Coladas were good. As for the food: My wife ordered the snapper fillets in a white sauce, and reported that it was pretty good.I ordered the deep fried whole snapper. It arrived as expected, but I was surprised that the skin was dry and overcooked, like leather and the meat was dry and tough. It literally required serious... More

This was not the place we had original wanted to go, however, we were hungry this place looked clean so we thought, why not? I am sure glad we did. I had the daily special, Sting Ray and Mackerel with fries and a salad. Done just right. I'll go back.

My wife & I went to Mopri on the recommendation of another guest at the hotel and a quick check on Trip Advisor. The whole fried red snapper with Caribbean sauce was to die for.

I had high hopes for this place- especially the ceviche. It was so disappointing. The ceviche was incredibly bitter from the citrus- it tasted like lemon seeds chewed up! Then, we ordered arroz con camarones and it was way too salty, my dish of carribean chicken was very boring. I'm sad to say this was a big let down.

We ate here last week and would highly recommend it. We had the seared tuna and lobster with garlic sauce. Prices were great, portions are large and the quality outstanding.

I ate at Mopri once during my visit in Puerto Viejo, and it was delicious. Located near the edge of town, they serve Caribbean-style dishes with many seafood offerings. The strawberry daiquiris were strong like the drinks at most places in town. My girlfriend and I shared a seafood plate served with a white garlic sauce (mariscos al ajillo in... More

We stayed at Korrigan Lodge down in Punta Uva and they recommended Mopri for good seafood. Mopri definitely delivered on the recommendation! Mopri is on the main drag and is an open dining area, so you can watch the coming and goings of all the people on the road as you dine. They have about 5 different sauces you can... More
