I'have been at the most expensive italian restaurants in Costa Rica, and had been in Italy for over a month, and honestly L'antica Roma it's at the same level, maybe not as extensive menu as the other fancy one's but pastas and pizzas are VERY good. Prices are more than fair, service is good, nice place and clean (not too big)... More

There is a wide variety of pizzas in this place. We tried a combination of Hawaiian and assorted vegetables. All ingredients tasted fresh, and it felt well done. A giant pizza serves 3 persons. Drinks are simple and this is an area for improvement: the presentation of those drinks disappointed. The price is right on for their quality.

All I have to say about this Italian restaurant is that the prices went high and the service and food quality went down... it is a shame that what used to be the best Italian restaurant in Heredia, is now just a simple expensive restaurant ...

Pasta, Pizzas, Mozzarela slices with house wine... And for dessert, Tempura's Ice Cream... excellent service!

I've been here several times this year and everything I've tried is good, the pasta is awesome, try the four cheese pasta. The pizza is really good and it's a very relaxing place, great place to go with your family or to go on a special date.

We went to this restaurant because of many good reviews. Had Pasta (Canneloni and Lasagne) - was simply boring food. Also the starter (Croquetes) was everything else but not tasty.

It is a great place to eat pasta, nice and quite. Close to Heredia down town, Nacional University and the Fortin, a kind of museum with history of Costa Rica and highly recognized by the citizens of Heredia

My husband and I love Costa Rican food (heavily rice and beans) but wanted something different that day. We walked over to Antica Roma, which is near the University.it is a pleasant, clean restaurant. The service was good, and the pizza was tasty. We did not try their Italan dishes. Nothing exceptional and a little pricey but a nice change.

Sat on the patio in the rain, enjoyed the ambience immensely. Thinnest crust pizza ever. The 3 mushroom pasta is fantastic. Place was packed, service a little slow, but well worth the wait.

In my opinion the best Italian restaurant in Heredia. Reasonable prices and a long list of pizza's as well as pastas. This place isn't for nothing always busy.
