Had a good lunch here after a long drive up from San Jose. Had a plate with chicken, rice, beans, plantains and a cold fresh drink. Service was friendly and the price was reasonable. I would recommend for a casual meal!

We went here every day for coffee, breakfast and snacks. Great service, nice menu with tons of options. We loved their coffee.

We love everything we tried at the Rain Forest. Good food, good portion and fair price. Their slides of cakes are huge (so it will be good to share). Try their homemade hot sauce, it is pretty delicious. Service is also good. We will come back here to eat if we ever go back to La Fortuna.

Great place for a great Costa Rican coffee and desert in the morning/afternoon. They have their own blend. Service is excellent and English is spoken and restrooms are clean

The restaurant has a good selection of food that tastes great. It is located in an easy to find location. The staff are friendly and helpful. A good choice for meals when in the area

Let me start by saying that I love food, and I'm offended by this place's grave offenses against decent cuisine. We had an empanada and nachos. Yes, I am aware that neither are what could be called local foods, but you get sick of a casado for every meal after a while, you know? The empanada wasn't a proper empanada,... More

Everything we had was amazing. We went back subsequent times during our week stay. Espressos and cake we're a huge hit with this family...especially after hiking Cerro Chato. ;)

The rain forest cafe had the most amazing food for kids and adults. I am gluten intolerant and they had so many options of food. I never get to even eat at home let alone in a restaurant! Two thumbs up Would eat at one of these anytime!

Good cup of coffee and a huge slice of delicious orange cake. I thought the cake was very expensive but when it came the slice was huge. So my advice is have one slice and share. There is plenty for two.

Hotel Rancho Cerro Azul recommended we go here, and they were spot on. We had tipico breakfasts and they were great. The tortillas were perfect, the flavoring of the rice and beans was spot on and everything else was yummy. Make sure to get a cup of coffee!
