We had lunch there after visiting the Vulcán Poas. We chose two Casados (mine was with fish) and it is really recommendable!! The typical curry salsa (bright yellow sauce) is amazing, the food is fresh and tasty and the service very nice. They also serve burgers, steak and other "Western" food. But I would definitely recommend the traditional dish Casados!... More

We enjoyed a great lunch here with fresh made food in open-air kitchen and open-air seating with all wood interior and furniture. just beautifully constructed. they also have local handy crafts for sale, excellent service too, highly recommend.

Average food with bad service: the waitresses seem to be disorganised, as they continuously repeat orders, asked us several times about what we ordered. I asked for a coffee that never came to me. The food terrible because the steak smelled like gas or bunker (maybe the fuel used to fire the wood). Definitely this place dissapointed me a lot.

The restaurant has nice wood details that brings a elegant touch for a restaurant in a mountain place -Poas Volcano is just 15 minutes away-. Very good service! The food is very good, very good steaks.

This meal was AMAZING. It was absolutely a perfect lunch after visiting the volcano. The service was fast and the food was so great. I cleaned my plate and the portions are large! I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are in the area!!

My daughter had the coscado with fish... Traditional Costa Rican food. Mine was chicken with melted cheese on top with small white potatoes sauteed in butter. A salad with the house drawing which was a mango with a little spicy kick to it. Wow!!! And they had no problems with my service dog being with me at the table. Amazing... More

Great stop for those visiting Poas. Fantastic lunch for our family. Three children (12, 9, and 7). Loved it. Authentic Costa Rican meal. Casados were fantastic. Steak was great. Chicken was great. Patacones are a great starter that is an authentic Costa Rican dish. Wait staff did not speak great English but menu is in both English and Spanish.

Our expert Costa Rican tour guide, Hernan Sandi Fernandez, took us to this pleasant and inviting restaurant on the way back from a visit to the Poas Volcano National Park because we didn't want to eat where tourists regularly eat. It's easy to get to and there's ample parking. The venue is attractive and immaculate. The wait staff and management... More

Our local guide suggested this restaurant as he said it was his favorite - great food, great service, convenient. OK. We're in. We thought it was going to be a small roadside place but it's most definitely NOT. It's a medium-sized modern restaruant with good decord and a lot of windown looking across the road and into a valley. The... More

Great, local grilled meat, rice and beans and fruit milkshakes. Casual prices and atmosphere. Everything was great, even the chicken fingers and fries for our 2-year-old.
