Everyone must experience The Rattlesnake Saloon. It is unique with a style that emulates southern hospitality along with good food and down home fun. My family from Portland Oregon and my friends from Canada loved it.

The character of the place - down in a ravine and nestled under a rock formation is cool, but the service was fair, the food was fair and expensive and the timeliness was pitiful. After we FINALLY got a table (we messed up and arrived at the start of the busy time of day), it took well over an hour... More

I was traveling with friends and thought this place looked interesting and decided to give it a try. We were staying in Florence and it is a good minutes from there,so not the most convenient place to have lunch at. I suppose if you were driving on US 72 west of Muscle Shoals it wouldn't be too out of the... More

decided to go see a restaurant built in to the side of a cave. you must park and they take you down a single lane dirt road to where the cave and the restaurant are. we thought it was a typical burger place but it was a great burger place. they can accomadate 1200 people indoors and outdoors. We need... More

A great atmosphere. Wonderful service. Such an unusual place. Nothing like sitting under a cave ledge and eating. The food was good, but being there was the best. If you're ever in North Alabama gotta see it.

We went cause we thought it would be cool and it is beautiful place. But the food is not worth it. They fry everything extra crispy. They had live music which was great also. I wouldn't make a special trip but if out that way cool place.

Perfect place to go on a motorcycle road trip. The experience was great over all. The food was just ok but the live band made it worth it. I wished we had come a little earlier and seen the events that were going on that day with the horses.

Unique atmosphere, but the food is low quality. My boyfriend said his burger was the worst he has ever had. I ordered a salad; it was mediocre at best. But the cave experience is neat to see, and there is live music.

This place is unbelievable! First you pile into the back of a pickup truck to ride straight down a steep hill to the mouth of a cave! It's amazing. Bring ID if you want a beer! We both had the Duke burger which was great! Service was spot-on! The setting is worth the drive!

Stumbled across this place on a road trip...lots of horses and trailers around for the adjacent trail riding. Was just planning on lunch but they were having their annual Halloween party so I stayed to take it all in. You have to walk down a short hill to the open-sided cave-restaurant but I was told there is normally a "taxi"... More
