This is a small independent bakery and deli, specialized in German desserts and breads. Most of their stuff is homemade and made from scratch. They do an amazing job with the desserts. The shop also offers for sale some European sweets and coffees. They have a pleasant atmosphere, and the personnel is nice and helpful. They also offer a good... More

Excellent selection of muffins, scones and other pastries to go along with their coffees. Friendly staff add to the mix.

The food was terrific. I ate the Kaiesspeitzle (sp?). Very filling and very good. The people who work there are extremely friendly. This my first trip and it was great.

Went here several times for breakfast and were all the times satisfied with what we got. Good coffee, could be a little stronger (only reason for 4 stars instead of 5) Rolls and Paninis recommendable. Price is okay for freshly made items. Parking directly in front of the cafe works well.

Stopped in this morning after we checked out of our hotel nearby. Not sure if it was because we asked for our order to go, but it took a look quite a while to be made. They didn't seem to be THAT busy, but the in house orders seemed to her priority. No bigge since we weren't in a hurry.... More

On our way to Tuscaloosa to run a half marathon, I was telling my friend that German bread was the best I've ever had. Happily for me, we were able to experience this the next day at Edelweiss. The bread was as good as I remembered, and I had a delicious breakfast platter. My friend had a German "hotdog" on... More

This service is top-notch and the coffee beats Starbucks hands down. One time my food was cold and I asked the manager about it and she reimburse me very quickly. She was very responsive and willing to correct any issues. It's one of my local favorite's now.

Our family and a friend recently enjoyed breakfast at this yummy coffee shop and bakery. Bacon, egg & cheese croissants, ham & cheese croissants, apple danish, chocolate almond croissant, and apple cinnamon and cinnamon chip scones - we all loved everything we ordered and shared. The hot cocoa and mocha lattes were also delicious. We plan to return on our... More

I LOVE their potato soup. I think I have ordered if for lunch about 6 times in the last 3 weeks (I only work 3 days a week). And the danishes are fantastic!

We stopped in for an out of the way game day breakfast. Not crowded at 0830. Coffee was ok. There is one free refill for regular coffee. We shared the Adonis. It was a bacon, ham, egg and cheese sandwich severed on a delightful pretzel roll. It was excellent. We also shared a chocolate croissant and a blueberry Danish. The Danish... More
