first of all, noone speaks english, they don't understand a word . Taste of food (from 1 to 5) it would be 3, or 3+, the prices are ok. It's a relatively cheap restaurant. You need to ask for bred or rice, othervise they don't serve.

Interesting place. First you can choose whatever dessert you shouldn't be disappointed, their cake are more than acceptable I am always ordering birthday cake there. Then one day I discovered they were serving food and I wasn't really conviced about a dessert chain beeing a restaurant .... but I tried and I have to say it was good. Their meat... More

There are at least 20 other restaurants in 正大广场,but their window seats are usually taken. You won't normally find a large crowd here, so you will be able to get a decent view of The Bund, but it is somewhat blocked by pillars. I had a Caesar salad, a French Onion soup, and the Irish Lamb Shank. Salad and soup... More

Day 3 in Shanghai and felt like a change in food so we found this place in the Superbrand Mall. The menus do have pictures and in English which is just as well as none of the staff could understand any English, it took me 3 minutes and a game of charades to get some ice cubes! I understand I... Secret recipe is a good south east Asian (mainly malaysian/Singaporean) cuisine however they also serve western food. i have always loved the cakes there! Environment is also good depending on which outlet you go to; price is decent for the food that you get. Overall, I recommend this place.

We stopped at this restaurant while on a walking tour of the PuDong area of Shanghai. The place had a clean, spacious look, and a menu with pictures which made it easy to order from the mostly Chinese-speaking staff. There are large windows overlooking the Huangpu River, so there are many interesting sights to watch while waiting for your order.... More

I went here during my lunch break and most everything on the menu looked really good, though it is a fusion style place with everything from British, Australian, Malaysian, Thai, Chinese style dishes to choose from. - This always makes me a little wary but we were on a time limit. I ordered a salad with sesame sauce coated crispy... More

Staying in Lujiazui

Neighbourhood Profile
When people speak of Shanghai’s futuristic skyline, it’s the financial district of Luiazui they are speaking of. Shanghai’s most iconic buildings are located in close proximity to Lujiazui’s elevated ring road and swanky eateries. Sky-high shopping and chic bars fill the highrises around the area. As is characteristic of a world-class financial business district, some of Shanghai’s best malls and hotels can be found in the neighborhood. While everyone on the famous Bund side of the river gazes in awe at these amazing structures, all the buildings here, as well as Lujiazui’s riverside promenade, offer great views of the historic buildings all along the Puxi side. The Lujiazui park often hosts music festivals throughout the year, and park goers can party and stroll in the shadow of some of the world’s tallest buildings.
