D.O.C. is a good restaurant where you can order a good pizza. I had a margherita and it was well cooked and the mozzarella cheese was quite good. Anyway I consider it a little expense for the quality. The restaurant is nice to see with...More

We went there on a busy day during the week. It's a one of the bigger restaurants with nice interior, but can be very noisy. The pizza was really tasty though and it was served very quickly after ordering. There are also some vegetarian options...More

Nice restaurant with great rustic Italian ambiance. Great apps - the prosciutto is excellent and the cheese platter is to die for. High quality pasta cooked to perfectly Al Dente. Service wise a disaster probably just a bad day for the waitress.

I had an excellent dinner at DOC, where the space is large but intimate, the staff is professional and warm, the menu is classic but inventive, and everything I ate was fresh and delicious--from the seasonal artichoke pizza to the steak. My waitress was knowledgeable...More

Food is not bad but over-hyped. I'm from New York. My husband is from New Jersey and has travelled around Italy extensively. The restaurant is not cheap on ingredients but the flavor is very average. All the places on Wukang Lu are much superior. Service...More

Former French Concession
While there are technical borders to the area formerly

it is mostly within the Xuhui district, residents will
sometimes include parts of Jing'an and Luwan in their
mental maps of the Former French Concession. The area
seems frozen in time, characterized by quiet,
