Love Din Tai Fung. This is the fourth branch I have been too. The dumplings are amazing as are the garlics greens. Less keen on the meats but that is mainly due to the differences they are presented and prepared in China to the West.

Din Tai Fung is a Taiwanese-based restaurants and it has 4-5 restaurants in Shanghai, A- based on personal opinions and I ate at a few DTF restaurants in Shanghai. Not Sichuan style cooking if that's what U are looking for

Our tour group dined here while visiting Shanghai. My first experience with this kind of”Dumpling “, restaurant. I enjoyed the experience, certainly different for me. I would try again but would limit to a variety I was sure I liked.

We had lunch here, put our name down for a short wait and perused from the menu while we waited. We were recommended to order first so that food arrival will be timely when we are seated. The variety of dumplings on the menu is...great and we tried the vegetarian dumplings as well as pork with truffle dumplings. Both really good. The price is rather expensive compared to other countries. Service was excellent.More

Went out with our work colleagues ... they often bring guests here because you can find something for everyone .. pork dumplings with the soup filly are outstanding !! Had a great time and good value for money !! Highly recommended !!

Din Tai Fung is a quality chain restaurant. Always great service and food is always good. Can go to any location and quality is the same. This place is great for lunch and dinner.
