A good change from the traditional food in the area. Reasonable priced. Had the porky cutlet and would recommend it, might suggest getting one hotter than you think as not as hot as we expected.

Food taste ok. You can choose from different kinds of pork or beef or chicken. Then set the amount of rice and hotness. If you are looking for curry. This can be a good place for you

Anyone who has ever been to Japan will know Coco ichibanya curry house, so being able to eat it in Shanghai is great for all those longing for some classic Japanese curry.

The restaurant is quite near to Shanghai Railway Station. I like their curry chicken with cheese. Beside that, there is choice of spiciness and portion of rice to be chosen. On top of that, they do offer western salad which I like to have for meal.

We were staying about 2-3 minutes from this curry house and decided to try it out one of our lazy evenings. The food looked 'ok' in the window, but we were pleasantly surprised when we tried it! Really enjoyed our meals and while it's not a high end place, the food was excellent.

A location is near Shanghai Railway Station (About 3min. from there). The taste and price were same as in Japan (little expensive than other Chinese local casual restaurants). There has an enough tables. If you like Japanese curry, or can try not Chinese foods, please visit here.

Coco's is a great little chain of restaurants across shanghai (and across Asia) serving Japanese style curry with a number of side dishes and drinks. The food is generally well prepared and the selection is quite good, and it is especially good for vegetarians as there are a number of vegetarian dishes available. The food comes out quickly and the... More

I was in the shop in "Shanghai First Food Hall" close to Peoples square. They have a modular concept where you can put together the basic curry, the amount of rice, the spicyness (from not spicy to quite spicy) and any add-ons that you would like. Very good for vegans and vegetarians is that they have some vegan/vegetarian options. As... More

Was in their Sichuan North Road Bracnch located in basement of Prime One Mall. Beef Curry with vegetable. This contains a lot of sauce and rice with each 3 small piece beef, potato and carrot. Taste is ok though. Rmb 58. Friendly staff. Avoid for lunch rush hour, it's very busy then
