The restaurant is located in the very picturesque Xintiandi area. The food is delicious. Finally a restaurant with beautiful Chinese dishes without all the bones, fishbones and other indigestible parts of animals that regular Chinese restaurants do not bother to remove. They'll see me here...More

Happy to have tried this shanghainese food, ambience is nice and waiters are attentive, I liked their minced chicken and self wrapped into a sesame puff, the squirrel fish was good too but would be better if less sweet, tried the soup which is a...More

Beautiful restaurant but not impressed with food quality. Maybe it’s the dishes we ordered but I️ found my abalone noodle dish to be undercooked and on the cold side. Too buttery and was blend. For such price, I️ expect the food to have more delicate...More

The food in this restaurant is dependably good. The ambience is very Xintiandi ie; generic chic. But for tourists seeking an accessible and locally flavoured experience this is hard to beat.

Loved the ambience located in Xintiandi. Braised pork with lots of fats was fabulous. Xiaolong bao was excellent, eel starter dish was refreshing. A little pricy but worth every cent of it.

My husband and I were invited to dine at this delightful restaurant by a local resident/friend of ours who resides in Shanghai. It is in the French Concession area of the city and a very nice area to walk around before and after dinner. We...More

Ye Shanghai in Xintiandi serves Shanghai dishes that are delicious and elegantly presented. We ordered the set menu (RMB 389 per person) and all the dishes were very tasty and appreciated. The wine list is extensive and the cheapest French Chardonnay for RMB 380 was...More

This is such a great restaurant we went twice in the week we were in Shanghai. The food is out of this world, the service is outstanding, and they have a really good wine list - and it isn't that expensive. Highly recommended.

Attention to detail makes all the difference here. Greeted by not just one but three employees manning the door. After being shown my seat, instantly swarmed by three more (one with a wet towel for the hands, one with the menus, and one to set...More

The refurbishment of a block of old shikumen into a
carless entertainment center called Xintiandi, filled
with restaurants, shops and bars, turned this area
below South Huangpi Road into one of Shanghai’s most
fashionable areas. Luxe condos house people who can
afford the high-end brands that fill the malls and
shops along Madang Road. The pleasant Taipinghu Park
provides the area with green space and is also home to
