Unfortunately, Wentzell's Oyster House in Orange Beach is permanently closed and no longer open for business. Very sad considering it use to be a great place to grab a bite to eat (especially for oysters).

We enjoyed our time at this restaurant. My daughter stayed busy feeding the fish and turtles swimming around in the water. Our food portions were enormous and everything tasted great! I'd recommend!
Food was delicious and hot. The grilled oysters in butter and cheese was to die for! Also, the platter of choose what you wish to eat, I selected fish and shrimp. Will return again.
Thanks for your feedback. We are glad that you enjoyed it and look forward to serving you again.
I had the red fish with a cream, the food was great and a large selection of beer. I thought the oysters are over priced. $18 a dozen ouch

The best thing I can say about this visit is that the waiter tried his best, and still came up a bit short. Hostess sat us at a dirty table right next to a screaming baby. Chargrilled oysters were "so-so"! "Low Country Boil" tasted like...More
