I've eaten here several times, the first by recommendation of a very picky friend. It's terrific. The decor is basic -- simple chairs and tables. The food, though, is incredible. The broth they use for pho is spiced correctly and very flavorful. The prices are great, too, with a large bowl of pho coming in under $8.

Went here on Saturday night for dinner with husband. Place had about 4 tables filled, was well lit, and the server was quick and courteous. I had chicken pho. Fresh sprouts, basil, and two slices of pepper. Broth was very tasty and slices of chicken Breast were tender. Husband had beef and spring roll vermicelli bowl. Beef was sweet and... More

My wife and I had the pho and my son had the rice and pork. The pho itself was poor to fair, the veggies were not fresh, the ambiance was drab and dated. I was just passing through the area but would not recommend this restaurant if you're looking for good Vietnamese fare.

If you are looking for traditional Vietnamese cooking, you are looking for Pho 88. IT IS SO GOOD! It is my favorite Asian restaurant in Mobile. I enjoy the noodle dishes the most, but the soups are equally good. All the dishes have a great price and the portions are huge. A couple could definitely split a meal and be... More

The portions were huge! Amazing flavors, especially loved the soup. Think delicious Asian food served in a diner-like atmosphere. We stopped to eat here because it was on the way to where we were going and it had good TripAdvisor reviews: next time Pho 88 will be the destination because the food is worth the journey.

After living in Mobile for 3 years and trying a couple of other Vietnamese places, we finally made it to Pho 88. They have fast, friendly service, and the food is great. We normally get a bowl of Pho. We prefer the Hue style, #7. It's the spiciest on the menu. We've also tried other dishes like beef chow fun... More

We love this quaint little place. I've been hooked since I had their #9 Pho, extra large. I get it often there with an excellent Durian smoothie - the best ever! My wife has tried numerous other items on the menu, and I've tasted them all - and we've both been extremely pleased. I think this could very well be... More

Bun cha gio, I think it's called, is excellent! It's a rice vermicelli salad with lettuce, cucumber, carrots, finely chopped peanuts, cilantro, with 4(yes 4!) crispy egg rolls(really spring rolls but they call them egg rolls) on top. It's served with a fish sauce that is not fishy just delicious! Also their spring rolls(which are really summer rolls) are pretty... More
