I was out for a ride along Jalan Merdeka, Melaka Raya, Melaka when I came across a restaurant named Restoran Aunty Le. I do not understand why the name is so similar ( in fact the Chinese name is identical) but just for the benefit...More

Hi Mr. Stanley, Thank you coming to the original Aunty Lee and for hi-lighting this issue. We still see customers 'confused' thinking we opened another branch. We are open to competition as we have full confidence in our chefs' cooking. We only are afraid of...More

Was there on a public holiday, luckily we were slightly earlier than the lunch crowd (around 11.30am), got a seat even though we did not make any reservations. Nice Nyonya food, although it tends to be a little salty. The curry chicken was the nicest...More

Hi Bactrulus, the early "bird gets the worm". Even without reservation. The chicken dish is called Ayam Limau Purut (Chicken cooked with kaffir lime leaf). It's my 8 year old son's favourite dish!

My wife and I went there for lunch and it was full, with many more walking in. It is advisable to make a reservation ahead. The food is nyonya cooking, and the few dishes we tried is certainly good and delicious. The prices are a...More

Dear Danny K, Thanks for coming. The potato chicken would be the Pong Teh and to have it compared to any grandmas' cooking is an honor. Yes, during holiday season, it's best to book your seats and dishes online. Or here's a secret for any...More

Hi WandeeRach, Thank you for the good feedback. Yes, the S size is quite generous. We do try to maintain our prices and food amount even though we are bearing a lot of cost in higher prices for vegetables and seafood. These positive feedbacks make...More

We enjoyed a delicious meal here. Try the ayam buah keluak - it's delicious, and very interesting. Good beef rendang and a lovely fresh sambal belacan.

Hi Katie, thanks for the great review. You're practically a Nyonya, with that palate for Chicken Buah Keluak, Beef Rendang and Sambal Belacan!

You will not get such authentic Peranakan food out of Malacca. Finally had the chance to taste a really good Chicken Pong Teh. All that I had previously was no where in comparison. A simple Daun Keledek Garlic was cooked to perfection. Love the simple...More
