Having chicken rice balls in an old capitan days house... the asam fish was good, providing additional flavor to the tongue on top of the much sought after chicken rice balls.

The signature dish here is of course the Hainanese chicken served with rice balls. Other than the chicken, they also serve other dishes, which we have ordered Asam fish, cabbage and black bean soup. In my opinion, the rice balls are unique and the chopped...More

Not much choice. But fish is better than chicken. Probably we have chicken almost everyday in China, we felt not special.

There is one dish on the menu Hainanese Chicken and Rice Balls. If you don't like that, don't go there. Pretty simple really. This place is crowded, noisy and runs at a breakneck pace. There is almost always a queue of locals and visitors outside...More

It is a restaurant with no long queue but reasonable taste of Chicken and Fish Head. But not much variety to choose from.

Lots of chicken breast for half chicken! Owner very rude when being questioned. Would not recommend!

The food is great. Don't forget to try asam fish. Located in Jonker street, worth a visit. Service is very good and efficient.

This has always been my favourite place to dine when it comes to chicken rice ball. The chicken is tender and fresh. The rice balls are well done and they taste really good if you drizzle them with chilli sauce (mixed with dark sauce). They...More

Hi, we are travelling first time to Melaka by car & are planning to go there for lunch on Saturday. I would appreciate if I can get some advise on: 1) the restaurant's opening hours, 2) where should we park the car? Is there a car park nearby? 3) since it is Saturday, is the street where the restaurant is located closed for Jonker's street night market during that area & time? Thank you!

1. No idea on on opening times but if it's meal time, just go. 2. Parking.Probably best to leave the car at your hotel - assuming in Merlaka Central - and walk 3. If you're on foot, no need to worry about road closure.
