Not my favorite choice but was taken there by friends. We are not much "into" steamed seafood items.

Ate hear twice on our recent visit to Gulf Shores. The food is wonderful. The Royal Red shrimp are my favorite. They have the most potent Bushwacker I have ever had. Ask for it with the floater. Not recommended for people who don't drink much.

Maybe it's because it was off season or maybe just the day, but we were disappointed. We had the peel and eat shrimp, crab legs, and oysters. The shrimp were over cooked and just really had no taste. The crab legs were small and really had been cooked and cooled and just hard to crack. This was our first visit... More

Gulf Shores is my families favorite vacation spot. Our plans typically include eating, drinking, and more eating. The only sight seeing we do is inside another great seafood establishment, and this is where the Steamer Oyster Bar comes in to play. This was our first stop, and we returned to this location several times within our five day stay in... More

Alway stop by here to get my oyster fix. There is nothing like knowing your oysters are fresh, and if not row, cooked exactly to order. I always try switching it up but regardless, ORDER OYSTERS! You will not be dissappointed!

My friend told me about the steamer and I went for lunch to try it out. I had a tuna sandwich and it was great. The server was attentive and over all it was it good experience.

Tables were dirty, floor was dirty, and the condiment bottles looked like they had been on the table for a year without being cleaned. The food was just as bad. This place gives Gulf Shores a bad name. Do yourself a favor and don't go there.

Excellent casual restaurant. Food is steamed and not fried. Seasoned and delicious. Restaurant is casual with indoor and outdoor dining. We had the seafood tray that has a great selection of shrimp, crab legs, reds, potatoes, sausage, oysters, coleslaw to feed 2 big appetites. If you are anywhere near Gulf Shores this is the restaurant to go to above anything... More

This was a disappointment to me. I ordered the crab legs. Came with corn, potatoes, sausage, and slaw. The crab legs were small. There was something yellow in a squeeze bottle on the table. I assumed it was "butter". I didn't try it. If I pay for crab legs I really want real butter. My plate was floating in water... More
