Five stars on food but the wait extremly to long and the prices are way over priced. The service isn't th best but the food makes up for all these cons.

Found this place on line somewhere but boy we were happy we did. We had fried oysters, the best we had on vacation.. the service was perfect and the band was fun. This is a little place in a strip center, nothing fancy but the prices are very reasonable. Just a good time with good folks.

My son had a seafood dinner that included oysters & clams. I'm not sure what it was but he got very sick. All the other orders included no sea food & no one else got ill. So I guess this is just a word to the wise to your restaurant. Please clean & cook your food carefully & do not allow sick... More

But the food is really, really good. Everyone gets "Swamp Soup"" before their entree. It is totally delicious. I suspect it might be easy to duplicate, with beans, greens, and either chicken or vegetable broth. And, of course, garlic. They also make a mean crawfish cake. And the stuffed beignets (with peaches) were pretty awesome too. Our server, Ashley, was... More

My husband and I moved to this area 2 years ago and had been disappointed in the seafood. I found an ad for a funky, junky redneck restaurant and had to try it. We loved the food along with the service and the unique menu. Our grandchildren are visiting this summer and we are looking forward to introducing them to... More

Where the locals eat is their motto. It's true! Great local joint with some of the best seafood on the coast at a great value. The service is extraordinary. Try anything with the crawfish sauce! Don't forget dessert, it's one of the best beignets I've had and they only offer the one dessert.

What a cute quaint no frills place with superb service and soooooo much food! Seafood was elevated to a new high-southern style including yummy swamp soup, coleslaw, fries, hushpuppies, and fried okra with your basket or entree. The crawfish pistols, a type of fluffy roll with creamy crawfish stuffing, were incredible! We overheard folks say they had wonderful burgers and... More

Swamp soup ! This was interesting and it was good. Too bad they only gave out small portions. The food was bland and greasy. The staff seemed preoccupied with other stuff than us. It wasn't crowded so not sure why they didn't have time to wait on our table.

We were very disappointed in the seafood. We both ordered grilled shrimp and it was very salty. You do get lots of food. Each entree comes with swamp soup, fries, fried okra, and slaw--all which were delicious. It was the seafood we were disappointed in. If you want fresh seafood you want in the gulf shores area, we recommend other... More
