Granted. We are newbies here on the island. We came in the wrong way to hit the WalMart. Until we get back across we are depend on the kindness of strangers and food emporiums . Islanders looked promising. It was close to our rental. Reviews...More

The calamari has been devoured and is tasty. The waitress has been working her tail off serving the porch and inside dining area guests. However, the app has taken over an hour to receive and we're still waiting on our food.

We've eaten several meals here. The grits are probably the best I've ever had as were the fried oysters. Prices are good as is the service. Live music at night is fun and well done also. It's really a fun and reasonable restaurant all day...More

This was our 1st visit to Islanders and we were not disappointed! We came for a late breakfast and the portion sizes are generous so be sure to bring your appetite. The decor is upscale with black tablecloths and local artists hanging on the walls....More

I should have heeded the warnings of other reviewers. We had a group of 8 and the best anyone could say was their food was okay. I had the special which was grouper with mango salsa and a side of spanish rice. A friend with...More

I ordered the red snapper special; but it was way over cooked so it was tough and rubbery. I had to cut it into very small pieces with a knife. How could a restaurant like this mess up a main dish like this? Also the...More

We had a party of six family members aging from six to fifty six. We arrived around 8:15 and had about a 40 minute wait. Orders were taken pretty rapidly but there was a bit of a wait for our food. Salads were predominately iceberg...More

The food was good, but it fell off the shelf at that point. We popped in for lunch and the place was not busy. Should have left right then. The biggest thing going for it is that it is on the main drag through the...More

Having traveled to this wonderful location to enjoy seafood, we were very disappointed by the Islanders Restaurant. My wife, son and I all tried different varieties of fish for dinner. The food was terrible, poorly prepared and dry. Almost as though it was reheated. Had...More

I don't know, I've only been to this location once. There was alcohol being served.

There was one on the entrance to the restaurant at the lower set of stairs. But this is a very relaxed atmosphere. If you walked in and just asked about the food there would be no foul.
