Went here for one time try and ended up having 4 days dinner here. Took a book, sat in a corner and enjoyed the good food and environment.

Wow, great service and big portions! The food was delicious and the bubbly we ordered was simply amazing! A bit pricey, but definitely worth it! The evening was made memorable by the waiting staff singing a birthday song for a man at a table near ours (not the traditional and heavily copyrighted one we all know) with a beautifully decorated... Konkan cafe is really one of the best options in Colaba region for authentic KONKANI taste. Enjoyed soup, starter and main course ALL were excellent! Nice ambiance and place where you can have family visit or business meetup. Would recommend for tasty konkan specialty food. Hospitality is exemplary!

I had breakfast here in last week and what a lovely spread with fresh fruits. Satisfying to have such a good option first thing in the morning :)

The food has lost a lot of it freshness. The uppams are gooey, the parathas slightly raw. The crab meat in the Tata fry was so tasteless that it could have been any mush. The rest of the dishes were competent but no flair I have been here before and had previously thoroughly enjoyed myself. Maybe it was a bad... More

My family and I are frequent diners at this restaurant since years. We bring many of our visitors here and have always enjoyed the quality of food. However on our visit two nights ago with our guests we felt let down as none of the dishes were anything to write home about. The service was as always impeccable and we... More

I love tasting regional delicacies when I travel across India as I've found that the regional cuisines are vast and extremely different from the typical mughlai food which is dubbed as Indian food. This is why I decided to try konkan cafe and I was not disappointed! The food was very unusual, different from anything I've had before and lip... More

Delicious Food. Only my grand mother can make kombdi wade this good. I was left wishing that I could eat more. The ambience is also great. If you are a big fan of authentic kokani or south indian food then this place ought be on your must visit list.

Coastal cuisine from the Indian Peninsula is synonymous with spiciness and high heat levels. Given this background the chefs at Konkan Cafe must have been faced with a herculean challenge to re-engineer this cuisine to appeal to the global gourmand by toning down the scoville index levels while retaining the taste and authenticity of the flavours of the coast of...
