La Casbah is located a little bit outside the tourist center but still in walking distance! We ate there due to a recommendation by a friend living in Bocas! We tried gazpacho, chicken rosemary, vegetable plate and chocolate cake for dessert! Everything was really delicious!

We were lucky to find this great restaurant on our very first evening in Bocas Town. Very creative and inventive cuisine, fine dining with a wonderful Mediterranean flavour. We'll be back before our 10-day stay on the island is over.

Down the block from where we are staying. Tried several times to stop in but always closed until we found out it opens at 5:00. We sat outside and enjoyed watching the people walk by. The food is very good and the prices are good. Stop by for a drink or a meal, can't go wrong.

The sign says Casbah. Right on the road. Always busy. This should have been my first hint, but it took 4 days of walking by and seeing it busy before I clued in. Service was great- not Panama great, but North American/European great! Attentive, fast, knowledgable. A large menu of fresh fish, meats, and unusual dishes. Christopher the owner/ chef... More

Don't let the roadside location fool you, this is a gem! I had shrimps in an ouzo sauce. That tells you this is not just your normal menu, rather something special. WOW, it was a spectacular combination of flavours. Every one of our group loved what they ordered. HIGHLY recommend this place for excellent service, flavours, and food presentation.

Went here twice during our stay in Bocas and it was a wonderful dining experience. From the start the owner/chef Chris comes and sits at your table while he passionately explains all the choices he has to offer. Second night there he highly recommended the tuna, not something my husband or I would normally order and we did choose other... More

Our B&B hosts recommended La Casbah to us and it was a good one! We had a wonderful tuna appetizer followed by a main course of beef. It tasted like something from a great culinary city like Brussels or Paris. Probably because that is where English Chef / Proprietor Christopher trained...

After being on Isla Colon for nearly four weeks, I was looking for new places to grab a good meal. I walked by La Casbah nearly every day, but had never stopped in. I looked a couple of times at the sign board, but nothing had caught my attention. One night there were quite a few people there and I... More

We were the only patrons in here tonight, what a shame because the food was outstanding! People visiting this area need to be enlightened with the quality of La Casbah. We started with two different tapas. One tapas was grilled shrimp, asparagus, wine butter sauce, roasted cherry tomatoes. Yum! Full of flavor! Second tapa was grilled chorizo with a red wine... More
