We would highly recommend this place for Sri lankan food lovers.... We visited this place for lunch during our way to Colombo from Polonaruwa. They had good collection of delicious Srilankan dishes which we will not regularly have in lunch buffets. But dessert items were limited. Staff is so friendly and served well.

We would highly recommend this restaurant . We visited this for lunch and food was exceptional. The choice was great with great Sri Lankan hospitality. Probably one of the best Sri Lankan restaurants in the area. Would definitely return.

Excellent service. Awesome food. Banana fritters is a must to try. We were bed and breakfast option... And we came back for lunch... And also tea before we left. The staff was extremely friendly and accomodating. Room was really clean and bathroom was big and clean. Loved the experience. Will Defenitely revisit.

We were delivered by our tour rep, presumably money changed hands. There was not enough food for our party, ran out of bread, unable to supply enough cups for tea and coffee a member of our party had to resort to drinking tea out of a soup bowl. If you didn't want the 1500 rupee buffet lunch tough luck. It... More

We had one dinner in this restaurant based on the good ratings in trip advisor Although it is quite a huge room with a lot of tables there were only two other guests. Apparently this is a restaurant for lunch of big bus groups. The menue had little choice. So my wife took devilled chicken and I devilled beef. The... More

Excellent service. Authentic food with staff showing traditional cooking. Freshly-cut fruits served on site by request. Speedy free wifi. Clean washroom. Nice semi-opened environment that is very nice.

My second visit and here is the receipt. While I maintain that the food here is good (ala carte) it surely is too steep for a midrange restaurant in a city such as Polonnaruwa.

An open air tourist restaurant offering a good buffet of rice, curry and accompaniments. Service was pleasant. Prices as per a tourist restaurant. Washrooms clean.

Polonnaruwa lacks quality places with quality food you are used to. With good flavours and delightful portions I loved the food here. But thought it was a tad too pricey.

It has a very impressive entrance and a large car park. One would expect a luxury restaurant with a good buffet. But it is just a cheap buffet at high prices. For a start it is not air-conditioned and stepping out of air-conditioned vehicles into this steamy shed with its hot air trapping roof is a very unpleasant experience. The... More
