Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Friendly delightful hosts, that's where the good stuff ends. Food portions were extremely small, and the taste was not good. For example, Milanesa was not breaded, just a simple chicken cutlet. Pancake dessert was most definitely used with days, even months old ingredients. They'll draw you in with low prices, but then charge outrageous amounts for drinks. My receipt below shows I was charged S/.8 for water. Unacceptable when large bottles of water can be bought in a Bodega for S./4 or less. Its also in a half constructed building, which shows the lack of dedication/passion for the business. I'd rather pay overpriced Lomo Saltado next door at a much better restaurant.

We enjoyed this place for a late night meal near our hotel. We had omelets and pasta and it was yummy and cheap.

This was the first proper eating place we came across as we entered Aguas Calientes twon after walking down from Machu Picchu. We were in a hurry as our Train back was about to start boarding soon. The folks at the restaurant were superfast, and baked a Pizza in the oven within 10 minutes. The cost was reasonable as well and included a free softdrink also. We couldn't eat it there, so was a Take Away. When we finally ate it after boarding the train, the Pizza tasted so good! It was slightly spicy and tangy and fresh!

They have a huge sign outside saying free WiFi but when we ordered and got the wifi code there was no internet. The man said we would have to go up the road to get internet

We were staying at Terra Viva, basically next door, which was an awesome hotel. We finished Machu Picchu in 3 hours with the additional hikes, took a nap and went to LA Roca, near our hotel for lunch because of their happy hour. We ordered 2 rounds for 2 people then on the 3rd round we only ordered for 1 person. They charged us for 2 people 3 rounds plus a built in tip. When I argued a mistake in the rounds they said I was wrong and not being taken advantage of. Since I never mentioned that, it only made me feel more swindled. Double check your check here as they are know for being a bit shady. Don't trust the math.

After a long day up at the ruins pizza and beer were just the ticket. Located across from the train station this is a cute, friendly little pizza place. The brick oven is a prominent feature at the front of the restaurant where you can watch the chef tend to your pizza. It came out hot and delicious. The decor is festive with window tables overlooking the river. Price is right, too.

Pizza was average, while eating our third pizza one of us bit a wood nail. It was unsafe, disgusting and they wouldnt do anything about it. She said that if she did not swallowed the nail there was nothing she could do.
Bad service, no compliments from the house or even an " Im sorry".
TERRIBLE DO NOT EAT HERE

Very thin crust pizza actually COOKED. I find that very unusual in Latin America. It was actually blackened on the edges so it was crispy throughout. I loved it. Good WiFi and a beer included with the pizza purchase completed the afternoon after a long day at MP.

Not the best but when you come back from machu pichu you will be hungry as hell. Get you a small pizza that will get you back on your feet.

We ate here after a long hike at Macchu Picchu. Nice place to be able to relax and enjoy a beer and a slice. I wanted a break from Peruvian food and this restaurant hit the spot. Very tasty. There was some sort of a celebration going on with fire works, Fun day in Macchu Picchu!

How can you beat great wood fired pizza, cold beers, and great views of the Urubamba River? This is the place to get it all. After hiking huayna picchu all day, sitting here and relaxing was key. They also had wifi. Don't miss when visiting Machu Picchu.
